I didn't get my request for Campfire as my sample. They gave me Blue beard instead. Oh well, I'll take it!!

Trying Sour Skittles today. Not sure about this one. Started out very perfumey, but it's toned down quite a bit, but I'm gonna let this one steep a while and try again.

Maybe they were getting too many sample requests for particular flavors? LOL

Yeah, I put aside my SS for a couple days now.. I can already smell the grape in it developing more

I placed my order for ice beard last week and the tracking g says it should finally be here Friday and I really can't wait to try it after all these good thing I hear about vcv.

I got my shipment from virgin vapors on Tuesday and have been vaping them all this week because I figured out pretty fast I am reacting to pg and something in the artificial flavors. The orgainic stuff seems to be the only thing I can vape without flu like symptoms and a really sore throat. The virgin vapors stuff has worked but I can't say I am not too crazy about the taste of their juice. I got 4 flavors all together and I definetly like their absolute line better(alcohol free). The only flavor I got from their regular line was wintergreen and I have to say it smelled and tasted like NyQuil/cough medicine, very very little wintergreen. I have let it steep with the cap off for a couple days and it has very very slightly gotten better. I know this isn't the vv page but that brings me to my questions:

Is that smell and taste due to the residual alcohol from the flavor extracting? Because I really didn't get that from their absolute line.

Have any of you experienced this with vcv (particularly ice beard menthol)? Do you usually let your vcv juices steep? And if so for how long and do you leave the cap off?

Also I was curious what you guys are using to vape your vcv juice??
I have several ce4's and this week they completely disappointed me. They leaked terribly, from the bottom all over the inside of my battery and up through the mouth piece getting large amounts juice in my mouth several times. I can say I am done with the ce4's...probably going to throw them out tonight after I try and salvage as much of the eliquid out of them I can. I have been using my protank all week without any problems(as long as I don't let it get too low) and I love it. Not only does it not leak but compared to my many ce4s the flavor that comes out of it is way better...way better. And I get more vapor out of it too. I liked it so much I bought a protank mini last night and I'm thinking about buying another protank. That way I can switch between 3 flavors and not have to fuss around with ce4s anymore. For $13 bucks for a glass tank I figure I can't really go wrong but before I pull the trigger on another one I would like to know what you vcv vapors like to use and maybe you could reccomend something else to me that will work well with vcv juice and other 100vg stuff that we all seem to like.

Thanks so much for reading my post,
Shane

Shane- IMO VCV doesn't fall into that "all vg gunks coils" camps. I've never had any issues with their juice and my equipment. I mainly drip but am about to pull the plug on Ibtanked carto tanks to see what all their fuss is about. Evods and protanks just bore me now.

I don't think I'd let my dog vape Virgin Vapor if he asked me to (and I don't believe I've ever spoken negatively of a vendor on my time here). I think you're in for a real treat. VCV is good immediately imo but really starts to shine after a few days. Hope you enjoy it!

Thanks so much for your reply! Yea...I have read a lot of other people say the same thing about VV so you aren't the first to say that. To be honest all their flavors just didn't taste right but especially that wintergreen.

I will check out Ibtanked carto tanks and see what they are all about. I am very new to all of this and as far as gear goes there is so much out there I almost get lost in it. Have you ever tried a protank or evod?

Thanks
Shane

I'm in since August and still quite lost! Here's some info on ibtanked. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/blogs/baditude/3318-3-ibtanked-pyrex-glass-tanks-review.html I like how you can customize your colors on the glass :) I may wait to order til I go to Vapefest in DC, they will be there. I use evods and protanks now for when I'm at work.

To go along with my new tanks I'm saving for...A ProVari :D http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/blogs/baditude/5569-13-why-provari.html#comment10514

I went to the ibtanked website and wow! There are quite a few options for creating your tank... I'm going to read that review after I post this.

That's cool your going to vapefest in DC! I saw that they will be there on their web site and I have also seen quite a few of other big vendors mention that they are also going to be there. Now that I have been getting into this more and more I wouldn't mind going myself...it's only about 2 hours away from me and I just may have to go and check it out. Maybe I won't feel quite as lost lol

I find VCV be so smooth on the inhale, I feel it but no sting if that makes sense?

I think I know what you mean. Do you get a th hit with any of their juices? Since I am a menthol smoker I do enjoy a good th hit but i don't react well to pg

PG & I don't get along very well, either.. Quite a few vapers fall into that camp... Some PG'ers say high VG is too thick & "slimy" for them.. While probably true to some degree for all VG, VCV isn't all that bad to me, relatively speaking

I've never had Virgin Vapors, so can't compare it.. VCV doesn't taste or smell like alcohol, though

With VCV, you steep with the cap on.. there's no need to take it off, except for maybe like 5 seconds if you want... Leaving it off when you don't need to can ruin the flavors & degrade the nicotine... Maybe shake the bottle once a day for the 1st week, and prior to every fill

My Ice Beard was pretty good right out of the mail.. Sometimes you need to steep their tobaccos for a week or three.. I think it really depends on how ultra-fresh your particular batch is... I got mine over 2 weeks ago, and it's improved to some degree, but not a huge difference... I also got a bottle of White Beard once & it took a good 2-3 weeks for it to truly steep -- others' WB was good on the 1st day or so... YMMV

Innokin has had pretty good quality & performance for me in the clearo dept.. A CE4 shape- & size-equivalent is an iClear 16 but works a lot better, it sounds... I've also been using some of the same heads for 40 fills now, with just a rinse & dry-burn every 8-10 fills... My 2nd choice is an iClear 30

Currently exploring other toppers, including a cartotank (IBTanked).. a Kayfun & a GP Spheroid also interest me -- little bit more money than a $5-$15 clearo, though, LOL

I'd agree, except for VCV's chocolate flavors.. Night Shift & especially Monkey Business gunk(ed) my coils more than non-chocolate VCVs... Even Nutty Cookie does it to some degree..

Chocolate just does that, pretty much no matter the brand...

Guessing "sting" = throat-hit?

VCV is pretty smooth.. Some of the tobaccos have more of a TH, especially my White Beard.. and even something like a fully-steeped Catherine the Grape has a pretty good one (relatively-speaking)

Which nicotine strength are you using? That's a factor, as well.. The higher the mg, the better the TH

Yeah, DC is about 2 hours from meas well. I just think I'll feel a lot better being able to see/touch things, ask the vendors questions, etc. Because I ain't even gonna lie,I don't know how to prime a carto LOL
