Okay, did something stupid earlier...

For the record, Nutty Cookie & Burley beard do not mix!

Not sure what I was thinking, but thought that there was an outside chance that it might be good.. nope!

Don't ask me why, but it was so bad, I had to dump out like 2ml from my clearo & rinse it out..

Back to the drawing board... :(

Yo, RuDawg!

Whip up a 50/50 mix of Vanilla Custard & Burley, if you can..

Best beard mix I've had so far...

I call it Custard beard -- aka, White Beard Jr. :D

If I can?! Hahaha!! Of course I can my friend!!

That does sound good!

Is it weird for me to think I am liking the taste of 100%VG better than my PG/VG mixes? It may take a little longer to steep but its better smoother flavor to me...do u guys feel this way?

Far from weird. Makes perfect sense to me.

Rut-roh...

Under the legislation, San Francisco would include e-cigarettes in its strict antismoking laws, banning them in most public places besides curbside on city streets, requiring sellers to secure a special permit, and prohibiting their sale in pharmacies and other businesses where tobacco sales are banned. The board will vote on it once more next week, and it will become law in April after the mayor, a supporter, signs it.

S.F. supes vote for same smoking laws for e-cigarettes - SFGate

Do I sense another move for VCV, this time out of SF?

Of course, at some point, there might no longer be anywhere else left to move to...

16mg Blu!

Talk about not cutting it..

Then started buying juice at 18, down to 12, down to 6, now at 4.5..

The way I suddenly did 12 to 6 was really dumb -- and pretty painful for a couple weeks... I definitely should have done 9 in between

If you have the funds, upgrade your PV.. makes a big difference in nic delivery

$40-$50 (non-FastTech) will get you an Innokin MVP 2 or a Sigelei Zmax V3/V5

Ah, actually.. skip 'em & just get a ProVari... :D

Thanks again so much for your help! I ordered the MVP v2 today, the provari was way too expensive for me right now. The Sigelei looked pretty good too but seemed a little more finicky in some ways. From what I could tell they both had the same features but in the sigelei the batteries are replaceable. Also I read that the MVP v2 had a flat line something or other (lol) like the provari that people liked better. They said it produced a smoother vape? I also really like it has a 2600mah battery, and I figure by the time the batteries go on it I will have/want another vv/vw device.

Also I remember seeing on another thread that the battery device you use has nothing to do with the vapor production or the amount of nicotine being produced as long as you are vaping it on the same wattage/voltage. Now today I read some contradicting threads on it so I'm a little confused as far that goes.

Oh!! And I ordered 90ml more of vcv today!!

Thanks again for your help

Wow funny you guys said that because I just mixed white beard and vanilla custard tonight, enough for a 15ml bottle. I am yet to try it out but I think it will be pretty good. A vanilla tobacco maybe? Can't wait to try it

I always mix just a couple ml in a clearo & vape it first before committing to a larger-bottle blend..

Though I can't imagine WB & VC not going pretty well with each other

Anyway, congrats on the MVP!

I'll say this...

I get a better vape off my Sigelei Zmax than I did from my eGo type (which I haven't touched in ages)..

And I get a better vape off my ProVari than I do from my Sigelei..

There is most certainly a difference!

Congrats on moving on up in the vaping world... :toast:

Hrmmmm I guess I should place an order on it now then....I was going to try VCV but I just placed another order with another vendor since I was so happy with their juice.

I just placed my first order with these guys. Got a 30mL of the Blue Beard Tobacco (my first tobbaco flavour EVER!) and then a 30 mL of the nutty cookie. I think I'm done with getting juices for the next couple of weeks. Hahaha. I spent over 80 bucks including with another vendor...but I'm definitely extremely stoked!

There are definitely differences in vape quality between batteries, mostly due to how much power it can actually put out under load. That said, the MVP2 is serious bang for the price. I doubt you'll be disappointed. I get serious clouds from mine, and the battery lasts through 2 full days before it gets below 50% charge.

Welcome to club VCV! I suggest trying Blue Beard FOOB, then let it steep for at least two weeks, and try again. All of the Beard flavors get incredibly better with a good steep.

"Same wattage/voltage"... that's the key right there. A simple ego clone can't do this. The output is not constant. Even many of the VV devices do not have good regulation to maintain constant outputs.
With that said, once you get away from simple ego/ego clones and get quality VV/VW units, then, I believe you can say the vape is similar across different brands.
I started with an ego clone, and I was not satisfied with the vape. This led me to ECF. ECF led me to ProVari. Night and day!
I still use the ego clone for when I go snowboarding, and as a backup, but I can easily sense the difference in vape quality.
Good luck with your MVP, many seem to love them. May it serve you well!

Thanks for the input!! The more I read and watch YouTube videos I have to agree with you and understand things a little better. The consensus seems to be that the higher end batteries do produce a better and more consistent vape. And damn everyone loves those provaris but they are so expensive. Maybe in a year or so if things keep going well for me in vaping I will break down and get one.

Thanks!! I'm excited to get it, hopefully Friday. The thing I like the most is the 2600mah battery, my kanger twist 1000mah only lasts me about half a day. If I fire it up at 7am it's usually beat by around 3ish. I also like that it has the ohm meter on it too.

There's good reason why everybody who has one (or more) loves those ProVarii..

Price? I was initially turned off by that.. Plus at that time I was spending a lot of money on all kinds of juices, and had previously spent too much on those lousy Blu's (disposables, a couple starter packs & a boatload of pre-filled carts)

Eventually I got the black ProVari with blue LED & extension cap.. $215

With so many US/European-made PVs going for $200, $300, $400+ these days, it's no longer that out of the ordinary

Is it worth it? IMO, heck yeah.. Pretty cliche, but you do have to hold one & vape it... Photos & videos don't tell the whole story

Perfect PV? Nope, no such thing.. I've got a couple gripes.. I'd still get another V2.5 in a heartbeat, though

But trying to hold out for a V3 in sapphire or gun metal ZenKote... :D

Lots of people swear by the MVP 2.. I've never used one, but apparently pretty dern good for that price range

Should help you more in quitting/reducing the cigs... :vapor:

Let us know how you like it!

Brave of you to go with 30ml right out of the gate!

I still to this day only get the 15ml when 1st trying a new VCV flavor..

Try 'em on the 1st day.. But both will probably need a little steeping (cap on!)..

Nutty Cookie might need just 2-3 days for more flavors to come out.. but tastes just as described... I think after a few weeks it loses some of its luster, though... Could just be me, who knows

I don't think I'm qualified enough to fully comment on Blue Beard, since I've only vaped a few ml up to now.. But I like it so far.. nice honey tobacco with a mild blackberry finish

Anyway, hope you like! And don't be afraid to try some of their fruit flavors.. I definitely need to stock up more on those

It's not only the lack of constancy for many PVs -- but also the lack of accuracy!

From what I understand, the MVP 2 does a pretty good job in both departments..

Wow Im really diggin' the smoothness of 100% VG- vaping nutty cookie rt now and its great. I tried one of my 50/50 mixes from another vendor and the PG felt 'harsh 'for the first time! Yikes! I have a LOT of 50/50 juices so I have to still try to like em at least lol. Oh yeah, and today I got caramel swirl, night shift , harvest berry and vanilla custard...expecting more great results!!(happy dance):toast:
