Is that easy to build -I want to try rebuildables but am not very techy

I've been looking into this as well. I'm plenty techy, but I don't want something that will take up a lot of my time.

My research has been pointing me towards the IGO-L. Seems plenty simple to build with, and gets good results too.
Also considering the kayfun, but not sure I really want a tank dripper.

It is super easy and so not time consuming. I can probably build a coil and wick it in less than ten minutes. I do build micro coils, which take a little longer. There's a great thread on micro coils here:
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/reos-mods/389074-micro-coil-rba-your-reo.html

I wind my 30 gauge kanthal around a 1/16th inch drill bit. Around ten winds yields about 1.9 ohms. Keep the winds tight, put it in the Squid, check resistance, dry fire until coil is red hot then squeeze it together with needle nose pliers, let it cool, roll up some organic cotton, feed it through, soak it with juice and let it saturate for a few minutes, vape away!

I can usually get a few days out of a wick, but I usually re-wick daily, literally takes more time for the wick to saturate than swapping it out. I do dry burn the coil while the wick is out. My last coil lasted several weeks, probably would have lasted longer but I wanted to try one less wind.

I like the IGO's, except for the size. The big advantage I see is the juice well in the bottom. With the squid I kept over filling and it would leak out the air hole while in my pocket. My solution has been to put an O-ring covering the stock air hole, and drill a new hole a few mm higher.

Every flavor I have tried has changed with steeping. Most for the better. The one exception for me is night shift, I really like it fresh, after about a week the coffee flavor come out, I don't like coffee.

Agreed..

I would also add Nutty Cookie to that list... Really good at first, then maybe after a couple weeks, something changes, and it's just okay...

Do you find that you steep them and get better flavor?

In a word, yes! Most of the dessert flavors are good FOOB, but develop after a week or so. The tobacco/beard flavors need at least two weeks. Vanilla Tobacco needs at least 4 weeks to peak in my opinion.
I recommend to all who try VCV to try any flavor FOOB, then let steep for a week, and try again, and so on.

Same with Monkey Business. The banana flavor really drops off after too long, actually too quickly for me.

Mine never had much to begin with!

Just that fudge overload.. which I actually sort of miss these days..

I requested for a sample either Chocolate Pudding or Mewlew's, so that should help with that :D

Friend of mine that pointed me to VCV swears by choc pudding, it is his absolute favorite, so I guess I should at least try it ;)

Yes, yes you should! I'm a big fan of real dark chocolate, like 70%+ cocoa kind. Chocolate Pudding has great cocoa flavor to me.

I'm going to post something similar in another thread, but I want to mention it hear since I've bashed the Protank II in this thread before.
In my search for a RBA/RDA/RTA, after watching countless Rip Trippers' and Pbusardo's videos, I decided to do a semi-rebuild of a PTII head. All I did was remove the stock wick and replace with cotton. HOLY CRAP!!! PTII REBORN! First hit 'bout knocked me down!!! Head rush and all! Juice is 50/50 unflavored & Summer Sweet, and the flavor is relatively intense for being cut.

I have had nothing but disappointment with my PTII (Ordered with my ProVari), until now! I'm feeling like a little kid on Christmas day!

Sounds like somebody needs to drop their nic again.. :D

Yeah, I've heard that a lot about the PT2, that it's one of the clearos that stands the most to benefit by tinkering with its wicks & coils (and even airflow)...

Another clearo I've tried before was touted by a number of vapers that its flavor rivals some of the best RBAs... Oddly enough? It came very close to matching the iClear16's flavor -- but not quite

I don't think I'm missing out at all on the flavor aspect..
Besides, I'd rather save my pennies for a 2nd ProVari.. :headbang:

Anyway, congrats on diving deeper into the topper world! Definitely can make a difference in all sorts of ways...
