Night Shift was pretty bad, it gave me headaches. I doubt I'l buy mmb. Thankfully I have cf and ibm to fall back on. I requested a sample of either strawb gwab or summer sweet in my order, hopefully I'll like one of those.

No way.. Night Shift is actually pretty good when it's young & fresh! What do you think it was about it that gave you headaches?

But I don't see MMB ever being good.. They should drop it when they come out with some new flavors...

Got a sample I haven't cracked open yet (way too clear & fresh right now), and also got a 30ml on its way...

You're probably better off not getting the Summer Sweet...

Nutty Cookie is probably better earlier on.. It changed too much on me the older it got...

And how come nobody ever spells Strawb-Gwab correctly?

Caramel Swirl takes a few puffs to get acclimated.. But after vaping it for a while, it's not all that bad...


My MMB got worse the 2nd day.. not a good sign...

It might possibly be the worst flavor they have..


I'll give it a steeping chance, anyway..

I agree with MMB being the worst. Mine doesn't even taste like it has the slightest hint of maple, it tastes like pure butter, but not even fresh butter.

Something in the flavoring I guess... it doesn't taste anything like a coffee/ donut, tastes like some caramel candy. The vape was harsh, and it literally made me sick (headache)

Yeah, I've got a couple options, since PIF'ing or re-selling it would just be cruel..


- Don't inhale -- can only taste about 25% of it that way.. And even if it did have nicotine in it, you're still able to absorb it through your mouth (think: cigars, pipes)... You can burn through juice pretty quickly that way

- Throw it in an iClear 30 instead, which tends to mute the flavor more (& is more of a juice-guzzler)


Combine the two options, and it should go pretty quickly


Thank god I only got 15ml of it..

No chocolate at all... just a caramel candy flavor, and like I said the vape was harsh, I would almost describe it as dirty for lack of a better word. It had steeped for a little over a week, and judging by the flavor, it wasn't going to change much of anything. I only bought a 15 ml bottle thankfully though.

On side note my mini aerotank/ campfire/IBT order came in today. They messed with the mix of IBT, it's lighter and more menthol-y, less of that thick, rich sweet vape that my first bottle was. Still good though.

Sounds like maybe you got an older batch of NS.. Two weeks pre-steeping, few days in the mail, a week+ of your own steeping, and all of a sudden you're pushing a month... This is why I always try it FOOB on the 1st day, at least for some particular flavors...

Not everybody is going to agree, but I think NS changes for the worse.. Nutty Cookie does the same... Some of the VCV juices like these have "windows" of peak flavor.. Just the nature of the beast (natural/organic, in VG)...


Your Ice might change with some steeping...

Yeah, I'd probably throw in an Ice & either WB or VT -- then it would be heaven, at least for me..


Twice as much CtG as the other flavors in that order.. And I've always had some on hand since my 1st order in January, which no other flavor has come close.. You tell me..


Recommended steep time:

Optimum peak flavor = start at 3 weeks, finish by 5 weeks..

Still good = start at 2 weeks, finish by 6 weeks...


Unfortunately, there's always the potential for some flavor risk with CtG, too..

I had a very weak batch once.. I'm not sure if it was old, or they had goofed up, or what..

The last bottle I finished off recently wasn't the best.. It was good, but it never got to where it should have, for some reason...


Best flavor they have, IMO.. In the fruit category, and all-around..

And now that I've hyped it up? Nowhere to go but disappointment...

Now that I'm thinking about it, doesn't the menthol get stronger, and/or the tobacco gets weaker, as Ice ages?


Instead of steeping, you might want to hurry up & vape it, instead, if you're looking for your personal optimal flavor..


Which is weird, because I prefer/ed an older Ice (before the pee clouds arrive, of course.. )

Got an unrequested sample today.. Way different & better from my 1st bottle..

I would guess that today's is younger/fresher...


Mostly lemon, with the other flavorings in the background..

Reminds me of like a lemon hard candy, or a lemon gummy bear...


Not sure how long that's going to last, so I'm vaping it like there's no tomorrow..

My 1st bottle, the lemon had already faded a lot, and it quickly took on what tasted to me like tea..

Would make sense, since that's what happens to Peach Tea (the tea grows stronger as it steeps)...

Holy what??


This morning I started vaping some MMB, and I noticed I was getting this smoky taste, with the maple syrup & cinnamon & butter & waffle/pancake taking a backseat..

Thought at first that it was my clearo messing up somehow..


Then I remembered all the reviews at VCV about smoky, savory, bacon & sausage!

Ha, this is pretty wild..


Sure enough, all kinds of natural/organic "smoke flavor" extracts are possible & available.. Oak, hickory, mesquite, pine...

(Don't ask me how people do that one!)


What a big change from days 1 & 2..

Certainly been getting a lesson again lately about judging a juice on just one bottle and/or unsteeped...


And yeah, I'm back to inhaling MMB again.. (I'm using a flavor-enhancing iClear16, for reference)

I can't really say if it's good or bad, and it's probably not for everybody.. but I'm "getting it" now & it's definitely the most interesting juice VCV has, anyway...

Got Night Shift from Craft Vapery. Its pretty good, but if there's any coffee flavor in it, I can't detect it.

Still, I'd recommend it on its own merits.

Candy Bar, Vanilla Tobacco, & Chocolate Pudding are being discontinued...

One could argue that they never gave them a fair shake, considering that until recently, all 3 weren't listed on the main page, but instead hidden on the Seasonal page where I'd say a lot of shoppers never saw them...


That said, I can see getting rid of 2.. CB isn't all that good, IMO, despite actually tasting like peanut-heavy Snickers (and despite the vape allergy potential)..

And CP can easily be replaced with Mewlew's, or wait a week for the bananas to fade away from Monkey Business...


Unless VT gets a similar replacement (doubtful), then White Beard is probably our best bet... Still a shame, though, as I think VT is one of their better tobaccos, but without all the extra richness from other flavorings in WB that you don't want sometimes...

Good to see some new flavors coming, though!

(Even if one of them is Chocolate Mint, meh..)


So how long does VT last? Any long-term steeping records?

As predicted, my 15ml got vaped up in just 6 days.. Might have to pick up a 120ml...

VT did nothing for either one of us even after 2 months steeping. Got an almost full 15ml 12mg bottle just taking up space in the juice pantry. CB was alright but too harsh on the throat for me. I love CP though and again prefer it to Mewlews.

I'd have to vape all 3 side-by-side, but CP, MM & MB are in a similar vein, from what I remember..

Mewlew's is probably fullest, richest & strongest...


I'm vaping on a week-old MonkeyB, and the bananas are all but gone now (but they were tasty while they lasted! ).. I'd have to say that this is closest to CP..

Again, going on memory.. only had 15ml of CP once..
