Vendors juice more throat hit with same nicotine/ml as diy

Every vendor I've gotten juice from either is adding more nicotine than they realize- or do vendors add throat hit additives to their juice?
I guess I've just noticed my 3mg diy stuff has a much more faint throat hit than most vendors juices at 3mg per ml.

Different nicotines have different TH's. Different flavorings can add to TH.

I've not been buying pre-made juice for so long that I didn't even know that 3mg/ml was a common thing.


Back in my day mastadons roamed the earth and pre-made juice went from 6mg/ml to zero and we liked it...well some did...I started mixing because I didn't like it.

What did you use for a PG/VG ratio on your DIY? Higher PG brings out the throat-hit more.

I'm usually pretty heavy on the VG like most of my vendors. Probably 70/40. The nicotine I get is from my freedom smokes. It's 100mg/ml in pg. I'm adding about 1ml of that for a 30ml bottle. I've ordered some of this vendors juice zero nic and added my own and compared it to their 3mg nic. It was just quite a noticeable difference.

I think it's more psychological similar to when someone else makes my sammich it just tastes better.

If you're not PG sensitive, try about 5% higher with your PG, if not enough difference, go 10%. Just play around with it till you find what works for you.
Like what was mentioned earlier, some flavors add more TH then others.
