I am leaving on Sunday to somewhere where I will not be allowed to order packages. I was wondering what are the best vendors with fastest shipping? I'm talking about if I order on Wednesday, it will definitely get here by friday, saturday at the latest.

No. It's not stupid. Once you have a couple of days to play with shipping, it's not about the distance, but the speed of order fulfillment. Far better off ordering from a place cross-country that fills orders every day than one right next door that has a 48-96 hour order turnaround time.

I've gotten orders from Florida to Oregon faster than I've gotten some orders from the midwest to Oregon simply because of fulfillment time. Ordered the same day, Florida arrived faster.

At least you mentioned "mail truck", some of the sorry individuals I served with would have wondered if the USPS had a good land-nav program so the mail-carrier could pick the best route to leg someone's package from it's origin point to their front door.

I get Mt Baker in 2 days, and others on the east coast have said the same. If you order in the morning, they usually ship the same day.

I live in the SE, about 300 miles closer to Mt Baker than the OP. I placed an order with Mt Baker on Monday and it's on the truck to be delivered to my house this morning. Mt. Baker is hands down the fastest shipping I have experienced in this industry. Litecig is a close second.
