I've been eye'ing this ever since I saw the group buy on congrevapes. Now that I see it on sale at thevapingbuddha I'm even more tempted to pull the trigger, but I've bought too much stuff recently and shouldn't.

Anyone else have opinions on "flavor rings" in rda's? I've never had an rda with one myself and curious if these are just hype or if they do make a noticeable difference.

Although I can't find much info yet on this atty, the juice well looks nice, and it's got an hour glass kinda shape goin on at the mid section, makin me wonder if it will contribute to flavor.

Thinking I want to at least try this atty out, but I've also read about machining issues and also connection problems -- so it remains a toss-up. If they are on to something, you'll see advances in the same vein if not just another doing this exact same thing (or maybe they are doing what another is doing, just maybe not as well).

Yea I've read two cases where people returned theirs because of QA issues. I've been turned off to it since then and now eye'in the Veritas RDA. Although I keep tellin myself not to pull the trigger just yet, because I'll feel the same curiosity next week when another new RDA pops up.

Edit: I was wondering where I've seen your avatar before. Until it clicked... oh the Veritas thread I've been stalking from the other forum. :p

Yeah, the Veritas is a winner in my book, but even with that I am still not as satisfied as I would like to be, since, well, having vaped on an Origen V2 (which will be going back on sale very soon).

Does the origen v1/v2 produce more flavor for you over the Veritas? After seeing how much the chamber is reduced on the Veritas I can only imagine it would produce great flavor.

They provide different flavor. The Origen I feel is more dense where the Veritas is more bright. It could be one of those situations where it depends on the liquid. If you have a liquid that is HIGHLY flavored, I wouldn't use it in the Veritas as it could be too much. It can take a muted tasting liquid and amplify it, which means a loud liquid will be more loud.

Did you even decide on which to get?? Ive also been eyeing that veritas myself and dont know what to do! To me I love everything about it, my only problem is it looks like a pain to build on. True? False?

True. And False.

What I mean is, at first it may be a pain, but after that initial fumbling, you will see it is one of the easier to build on. It should only take a few runs before you "get it." Actually, I build on it even when I don't need to as it is fun -- and I am not an advanced builder, but I can get a pretty good looking build in a matter of a commercial break while watching TV.

Please vote in my poll (seen in my signature. Thanks.)

Oh wow, sounds about right thank you! Im just getting kinda bored with the drippers I have right now and was looking for another one and this is the one ive looked at the most. One more question, in your opinion was it worth the money?

Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk

Well, here's something to consider: I've thought about selling it, and still may (just so I can rotate attys), but when I consider selling it at/near the price I paid, it just doesn't feel worth it to SELL it. What I am saying is to get the money back I paid for it feels like I would rather just keep it. That should say something.

If I do sell it, it will only be to try a few more drippers I haven't tried, but I can foresee a day when (if I do sell it) that I would eventually buy another one.

The thing about this atty is that there is just not another atty out quite like it, so spending similar money on another popular three-post atty is where the price feels "not worth it" since sooooooooooooooo many attys share virtually the exact same construction, with different logos. The Veritas is not the exact same as others.

I don't know if that answers your question, but let me be clear: I think it is worth the money, but that's not to say everyone will agree (obviously).

No you actually answered exactly how you should and I do understand what you mean. All of my attys like you say are the old 3 post deal, some do more than the next but when it gets down to it, its the same thing, so that would be why this stands out to me. Its just different, thank you for the knowledgeable answers I do appreciate it.

No problemo. One interesting thing about when I go out and meet up with other vapers. Every time I pop the hood on the atty, for those that have never seen (or even know about) a Veritas, they almost all respond with a "whoa, what is that?" LOL

Good talking to you, HeiSINberg.

Ive been watching this atty for a while and the vertical build did scare me off at first lol ive only ever built a Russian 91% vertical once so im sure you could see the hesitation. But to me its almost like the good out ways the bad on this. I think this'll be my last big purchase for a while I went a little over board this pay lol its almost like I gotta sell my first born ever since I started vaping, but hey at least no stinkies.

I know this is a bit of a dead thread but thought I'd chime in. I have both the black and silver editions of the Vertex. I love it for the most part. Even with my Mephisto, they tend to be my go to RDAs to use. The only thing that drives me nuts about it is depending upon the build there are times that I get the joyous pop of hot liquid either to the face/mouth or onto my fingers. I wish it had more of a domed top with spitback protection like the Cryptex and the Nimbus before it. But all in all, I love my Vertex RDAs.
