I emailed rob since it's almost midnight here. I never thought this could of happened, can't believe how sad i am. Picture a big 6'5'' 200lbs man sad over a object the size of a credit card. :(

edit: i think the multimeter did it, the positive pin of the meter slipped pretty far down into the connector. I'm so mad at myself, i didn't think that could of harmed my Reo. I'll never do that again.

Don't worry; it probably didn't do any damage to the mod...the safety worked the way it's supposed to.

Hopefully it doesn't have to cost anything crazy, my stupid car needed new tires this week. I don't know how much it is to ship somewhere either, probably not more than 10 bucks. I will miss my Mini if i have to ship it away to the hospital.

PM Rob...he's on the other thread now.

Dude, I'm SOOO sorry, that really sucks. What your describing is the exact thing that had happened to my other bottom feeder. I did finally get it to work, and from what I've heard, you shouldn't have any trouble getting your REO fixed! But you do have to go without for the time it takes to ship it. I guess this is why ALOT of people end up collecting the REO's if something ever does go wrong, they have a backup. Good luck getting by without your mini, oh and I do understand the picture you painted.
I'm 6' 290, and my little PV's have caused me way too much sadness in the short time I have been vaping.

............ i can't believe it. the same thing happened to me just now.. Only with my Grand...

I was trying to see if my 510-510 adapter was still working as I couldn't get a reading w/ my screw on volt meter on one of my mods.. Silly me decided to try it on the Grand.... Screwed it on... Pressed the button & saw smoke coming out of the bottom.. I was like WTFFFFFFFFFFF NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO... Opened the door right away.. and literally saw a little bit of the spring melting.. I 'Flash' style removed the battery...

Now the spring is def collapsed... Funny thing the Grand still works.. battery is very loose inside and flys out when i tilt it w/o the door.... emailed rob already...

Lucky me I have a mini and a 510N...

---- Silennt so where did you buy the Spring from? I see Rob is Out of Stock.. : (
