Isaac, same thing happened to my grand...it was after I used an adapter w/ an atty- it messed up my atty...shorted it internally. Like a dummy, I had to try it twice- melted part of the spring AND the plastic button you push down to meet the firing pin. I sent it back to Rob and he fixed it. This apparently happens if there's a short somewhere and you're using high drain (IMR)
batteries. My battery was fine too... Anyway, I check new attys now before I use them and make sure any adapter I use doesn't have the center pin sticking out too much. That seems to be the culprit of messing up an atty.
