Hey guys,

I just got my EGO in the mail and I keep hearing/seeing everyone have the atomizer and cone in 2 seperate parts but I think mine is all one part? I cannot seem to seperate them?

I'm also not sure how to get started, do i drip my juice into the cone/atomizer or into the tip thing (cartridge?)... Is there anything else I need to do before getting started?

Thanks in advance!

If you got a standard starter kit, you should have 2 batteries (cylinders with buttons), 2 cones, 1 atty and 5 carts.

1st blow out the atty, it's probably primed with some nasty juice.

Assemble the atty to the battery, slide the cone over it, the carts should have white polyfill, that's what holds the juice.

Put 2 drops of juice into the atty and then put one of the carts on and puff lightly a couple times and it shoudl start vaping for you. If it does NOT then simply remove the cart, and add drops slowly to the white poly fill til it puddles, take a napkin and dabb off the puddle before putting it back on the atty.

you mayhave I suppose bought a clone that has no cone or maybe a mega starter kit where the carts are huge...

Well yeah there is an absolute Janty/Joye eGo, there are many copies of the original, not sure who was first Joye or Janty but that's not really an issue. I have yet to hear a bad review about any of the copies out there from the Riva, Titan, vGo etc.

Is the battery wider then the attomizer? Is there a screw top to it? If your battery and atty line up the odds are you got a 510 e-cig. Which is still a fine solution, main difference is the battery life isn't as long.

If i recall correctly the 510 batts are 350 mha which should give a pack a day smoker about 2 - 3 hours of vapping time. The Joye eGo batts last a normal smoker bout 8+ hours.

As you get into this you'll end up finding out that the difference between all the copies pretty much is the battery, all eGo's and eGo knock offs use a 510 atty. That atty seems to be the most reliable and thus the most used, the cone is nice because it does 2 things makes the vapor slightly warmer, and keeps leakage off your fingers, another thing people like and thus part of the reason the eGo came to being it was the next step from the 510 e-cig.

Riva and Titan use 750mha batteries which simply means that the drop time from your standard 3.4 volt usage to below 3.2 volt usage is longer than say the standard joye 650mha battery. Both batteries are just as good the mha rating just determines how long the battery can put out it's optimal performace before being considered "Dead" when the ego light blinks and it says it's out of power, it's not really dead it's just below acceptable usability.

The "Mega" ego came from people wanting a larger reservoir of fluid, I personally stayed away from it because the availablilty of standard 510 attys is huge, at the time the mega attys were hard to come by, I don't think that's the case anymore, but I guarantee you'll still end up spending a few cents more per hardware replacement because it's not mainstream.

I wouldn't send it back though either, it's a FINE starter kit.

Welcome to the fold btw. I'm sure you'll end up being just like the rest of us though, none of us, or at least no one I know found the "perfect" vape right off the bat, we started with a starter kit and slowly learned more and more, started using mods, buying mods, making our own mods etc. It's a learning curve and honeslty an adventure that takes time to find the perfect vape and perfect juice.

Good luck on your journey!

Also, my cartridges that came with it have a filling in it. I bought a ton of diff flavored juices, if I want to put some juice in it can I just do it to them cartridges?

Where do I put the juice (in the cartridge or into the atomizer?) and how much would you recommend?

Are your cartridges empty? Drip enough juice into them until absorbed and look slushy. Drip 2 drops onto atty. Reassemble and vape.

OP - IMHO, you got the better starter kit. I got two eGo kits one with standard 510 attys (and cones) and one with the Mega attys (like yours). I never use the 510 attys. Tried em but I like the megas much better.

For clarification - the eGo is 510 threaded. So, both standard and all flavors of 510 atty/carto will screw onto your ego (these are thinner than your mega - hence the cone). It will also take all flavors of ego Mega. The benefit of the larger size is that more juice fits in the cart and you don't have to refill as often.

Keep in mind that whatever atty you use, you need the corresponding cart / drip tip etc.

DON'T RETURN IT! unless of course you don't like it.

Ok i most certainly am not returning it ;)

I'm sorry for all the horrible nooby questions... :) But I have to ask this again.

With all the juices I bought, what do I need to do with them in regards to the cartridges that came with the system? Can I drip the juice into the cone thing? Or do I drip it into the cartridge?

Thanks for all your help so far guys.
