Here's an update on my long-awaited SB. It arrived in my city on August 24th and has been sitting at a local post office ever since.

I have a Chinese friend who calls the post office every day to find out what the hell is going on, and why they don't deliver.

The answer is always that they have a back-log and I just have to wait. This kind of makes a mockery of EXPRESS mail service.

You are right. It's got beyond a joke. My only comfort is that this time my friend has confirmed with China Post that the address and the phone number on the package is correct. So there is absolutely no way they can not deliver.

One thing I just don't understand is I often order from Health Cabin (based in China). Also delivered via EMS, and it's always at my door two days later. Why does EMS from the good old USA hang around in a local Chinese post office for two weeks or more before it's delivered? And it's not even a customs issue. If customs had it, they would tell me.
It just makes no sense at all.

Nicko that is so awful :(
Is there no way that you could go pick it up yourself?

That's not an option because it's in a kind of storage / sorting facility which is not open to the public.

The other thing they are saying is that my parcel is not express, it's just normal. I don't know how that's possible because I'm tracking it on EMS.

I finally got my long awaited Silver Bullet in my hands last Friday. It appears that the charger is faulty but I can get another one fairly easily here in China. I've tried vaping with it but it seems I'm just using up the little power that was already in the batteries and it's not making much vapor at all.

The reason for the delay in delivery seems to be this :
1. The address didn't print out properly. The first half of each letter is missing on each line of the printed address, so it's impossible to read it properly.
2. When I made the order I included the address in English and also Chinese character but there was no Chinese on the parcel.
3. The phone number was not on the parcel.

These three things combined are a Chinese mailman's nightmare.

So it's little wonder the first parcel was never delivered and it's only because my Chinese friend called the post office every day that the second parcel was eventually delivered.

Anyway, it's all water under the bridge now. I finally have my beautiful SB and when I have a charger that works I'm sure I will be very happy.
