I am very interested in DIY. Number one, the long-term savings and number two, I really like the mixing flavor aspects and being creative. :) I have read and read and read some more until I think my eyes are crossed. lol.

I am probably going to start with a kit of some sort, just to get my bearings and knowing that I have everything I need. Any good recommendations for under $50?

Also, I try to use WTA liquids but they are so expensive. So far, they are the only ones that really "fix" my cravings. I have on order 60 mls of unflavored WTA that I'm not really sure what to do with. Can I just add this to the liquids that I already have? Do I need to order flavors and mix up small amounts? I really don't want to "waste" the WTA liquid because it ain't cheap! lol

I like trying various flavors but I always go back to an RY4 blend of some kind. It seems to be my go-to juice when I'm stressed. I haven't found the perfect one yet, that's another reason why I'm interested in DIY.

Thanks so much for your help! :)

Take a look at Nude Nicotine. They have one of the better starter kits that I've seen. It also comes with nic/pg & vg, your choice of 5 flavors. You can open your pkg, mix and be vaping within an hour.

Several vendors sell flavorings that are premixed, just add nicotine and that's not a bad way to start. It takes a lot of the guess work out of it and it's still cheaper than buying premixed.

If you want to start with your own flavors, mix them in small amounts with no nic added until you get them right. Keep track of percentages as you go so that you can duplicate it when you mix in a larger amount with nic. It's a little more involved than baking a cake.

Check with the vendor of your WTA. Some in infused with regular nicotine and some is just WTA (add your own nic).

Good luck!

I don't know if I should comment, wouldn't want anyone thinking that I think I'm a pro  ...anyway, since you like RY4 you could buy some small bottles of vanilla, vanilla swirl, caramel, marshmallow from Wizard Labs to mix with your WTA...:2c:

Lol, I'm sorry. I was wondering why I had so few comments but a lot of views. I tried to edit the title but it won't let me. Thank you for the suggestions!

Are you mostly interested in tobacco mixes/blends...

I think so. I know that sounds terribly uncertain. I like the tobacco-ish taste, I just don't like the dryness or harshness after a few vapes, if that makes sense. A smoother, rounder one would be nice. I've tried a lot of fruity flavors and sweet flavors but I just can't vape them for very long. They just get yucky. lol. Most of the RY blends I've tried seem to be too sweet for me. The last one that I had was Aroma RY4 and I added BWB Virginia to it, almost 50/50. Unfortunately, I'm out of both. :(

Hangsen RY4 is very light on the vanilla/caramel...you can customize a RY using the HS by adding vanilla/caramel to your liking. You could add a little marshmallow for a smooth/round taste...and believe it or not...ha...Capella Coconut is delicious with tobacco flavors. I don't like sweets but a little marshmallow is a very subtle sweet to counter the very dry taste.
