I bought the xhale 02 from 711, it stopped working after a couple days. I'm guessing it's because I overheated it (puffed too often without letting it rest) or I rinsed something that shouldn't have been rinsed. I'm going to try buying one again and I wanted to know what I should do this time, in terms of how much to puff and how to keep it working at peak.

Thank you :)

It looks like you've had some troubles with this model based on your previous posts. Before making your next decision, I suggest familiarizing yourself with the information found in the stickies here: The ECF Library - E-Cigarette Forum

Don's guide contains lots of information about the various models available, many of which will be more hassle-free than the one from 7-11.

OK, here's the part where everyone chimes in and says "get a 510, I love my ego, etc." Go ahead...

Without knowing how you used it and if it is a disposable model or ? it is hard to tell you what might have gone wrong.

One thing that a friend did: she came to work and said the inexpensive model only lasted a day and died. I took it and checked it out. Found out the cart was dry. She was only adding one or two drops to the cartridge filler so of course there was no vapor. That unit is still going strong for her.

Tell us more about what you are using/doing and maybe we can help.

Led - I would like to try some of the better ones but the one I bought was the cheapest and most convenient.

rose - I don't think the xhale 02 is meant to be disposable, probably isn't meant to last as long as a more expensive one though. I know the cart isnt empty because I tried a fresh prefilled carts and I'm getting nothing out of those either. I tried rinsing the atty and that didn't help either. It just doesn't vape at all

What did you rinse the atty with, and did you let it dry before you tried to use it? Did you either prime it with juice or let it soak some from the cartridge before trying to use it?

I rinsed it with water, I cleaned off all the water instead of letting it dry. I also didn't prime it because I don't have any juice. How would I let it soak from the cart anyway?

The cart must be dry after boiling/rinsing. You also have to refill it with e-juice prior to using it again.

    Ditto that.

You should also exhaust all "dry" methods of cleaning (blow out, dry burn, etc) before dunking it in water. But if those don't work, rubbing alcohol works better than water, and has less of a chance of destroying the atty.

I understand the convenience factor, but we are all mailman stalkers around here. Join the club! :)

I would not rinse the atty, if I had no extra juice to prime it with. Since you already did , can you stand it up so some of the juice can wick into the atty.
Also maye it is not dried out enough from the water. if you have water in there it willl most likely not get any vapor.
Try blowing out the extra water from the battery end of the atty.

I agree your money would be better spent on one of 7-11's prepaid Visa cards so you can get a better model online. They can be had for $15-30 and that way you can get replacement carts, etc cheap.

I have my own opinions of 'which is best' for equipment, but since you're here you can research what YOU like instead.

It's probably hard to hear, but seriously - cut your losses and get something you can get parts for cheap. Sorry.

I'm on my 5th day w/ the 7-11 x haleo2. Works fine, never rinsed it, and I chainsmoke it till the batts dead most times. The x haleo2 has a 1 year warranty and the web site(and directions) say to take it back where you got it. I saved my receipt for just that reason. I say take it back and try to exchange it.

A video on the xhale02 site said "a dry atomizer will overheat and become permanently damaged" how should I prevent that if I don't have e-liquid?
Don't use your e-cig unless you have either Fresh carts, or liquid. It's okay to flood the atty but not to let it run dry. Always have new carts or liquid around to refill the carts with/drip with

    Steve, dude, get some juice.

    LOL, classic... dude.

Steve: Without some sort of cart mod, you will never get all the juice out of it. The standard filler will hang on to about 20%-30% of the juice.

That said, even with a cart mod, try to avoid letting the cart run out completely. A dried atty is a fried atty. You need some juice, even if for no other reason than keeping the cart & atty moist.

Going one step further, prefilled carts are pretty much a waste of money. It is very cheap and easy to fill a cart yourself with your own juice. So again, you need some juice. Dude.
