We all know PG dehydrates the body, but what about VG? If left exposed to the air, VG will absorb a significant amount of moisture from the air - perhaps more so than PG. Doesn't that make VG the more dehydrating of the two?

Since most eliquid is made with both PG and VG, I don't think it matters much which is more dehydrating. Always drink plenty of water, and the effects won't be as bad.
I am trying to decide whether switching to 100%vg would make a difference in dehydration. Doesn't look like it .....
Why not? I do myself occassionally. It's naturally sweet, and gives tons of vapor. Don't knock it 'til you try it.
I vape close to 100% VG and if I don't drink about 10 glasses of water a day I feel like crap.
I use 82% VG 18% distilled water, drink over a gallon of water a day, and still struggle with dehydration.
My first sign is a slight headache which usually subsides shortly after a glass of water. Mostly I judge by urine color. It's fairly difficult to get overly dehydrated while drinking so much water but the slight symptoms are there.
I find PG dries me out much worse than VG. I mix my own and always vape 90%+ VG. It's great.
That being said, you still need to drink lots of water. I drink probably 2 to 3 litres a day.

How much do you vape that you need so much water? I vape about 1 to 1.5ml per day and I only need one more cup of water per day.
I tend to chain vape when I'm home and go through about 8ml a day. The Kayfun seems to drink it up as I never used this much in a clearo. Also had to drop my nic to 2mg.
Well, if I'm ok with 1 cup per 1ml of vape, the probably you should drink 8 cups then 
I feel my dehydration feeling is less with 100% VG. I've been using 100% VG for a little over a week now. I have kicked up my water intake and cut the soda out as well to be safe. Usually I try to drink 1-2 bottles an hour, but it's been a humid hot summer so far down in Alabama. I sweat out that water faster than anything probably.
I don't drink anything except water and drank quite a bit of it prior to vaping so 8 additional cups would equal about a gallon. One additional cup per ml sounds like a pretty good "rule of thumb".
It seems drinking a lot of water alone may not solve the problem. It might make it even worse if it depletes electrolytes in your body. You will have to replace them with various supplements like power drinks or fruit juices. Otherwise symptoms of dehydration will get worse. Here is a thread on the subject:

I vape about 15 ml a day. I also drink a lot of pop. About 3-5 cans a day.
