How about adding pure water/de-ionized water to the juice to thin it out some? I have heard of people using Everclear, but I do not drink alcohol so I an not gonna do that.

Yea, I'm going to try that too if I don't like the Everclear, but the Everclear should give me a better throat hit while the other should decrease it. I don't drink either (anymore), but I'm not worried about inhaling such a tiny ammount. Its not even going to be a shot's worth over a couple days.

I love my phiniac tanks, and my pyrex triple-Vs with cartos, took a while to get the right configuration of holes but I got it. I use mostly 50/50 juices, but some juices are thicker than others, not sure quite why, (maybe the NET tobaccos are just thicker) I also notice that coffee juices are carto killers also.

If you have some difficult juices and want to save your cartos and your sanity, you might give the VIVi nova tank system a try. It can handle the thick , dark almost black juices with out any problems, and it doesnt seem to bother the coils or wicks, have one head going for about 2 weeks, I do give it a rinse when I change up juices, let it dry and its ready to go.

Well I tried the everclear. Works great. Not really sure what ratio I wound up using, but it was maybe 70/30 vodka/juice at most. I got a pre-drilled carto from IKV and the hole in it is tiny, like a small ballpoint pen. By thinning out the juice though, it has no trouble feeding. Lots of little bubbles come out of that hole on ever puff. I feel like this verifies my problem... My juice was too thick.

On the other hand, thinning the juice also seems to thin the flavor. I don't really like that. Using vodka, I found the throat hit relatively unchanged, though different some how. Oddly you can't really taste the vodka except just slightly on the exhale, but honestly I have to be looking for it to taste it. It really only seems to give the vape a "bright" or "crisp" quality. It's hard to describe, but its actually good. Still, I don't think this will be my preferred method because it does weaken the overall flavor. I prefer the unadulterated taste of my Boba's and I have a method that works for that.

My favorite method at the moment is using IKV "gold" cartos, or whatever they are, and punching four holes in a ring right at the bottom of the tank. Using the COV Carto Punch (indispensable for me now), after I hear the "click" of the punch going through the metal, I give it exactly three and a half turns. This seems to create the perfectly size hole for Boba's Bounty, which is really thick, so that it feeds effortlessly but never floods, and I never have dry hits any more. I get nothing but nice, thick (really thick), warm, tasty vapor. Honestly, with this method, vaping is mindless. The only time I even have to think about my setup is when I finish off a tank or kill a battery. It's vaping bliss. :)

anavidfan,
Yea, I have two Vivi's but I'm not an overly big fan. I seem to have a lot of trouble getting them to wick these thicker juices. They wick well enough to give me some vapor, but I think I'm picky about my vapor. I like thick, dense clouds, and I just can't seem to get that from a Vivi unless I use PG or a PG/VG blend. I will say that the coil doesn't seem to care about the color of the liquid and it doesn't seem to get gunked up very easily, but I just can't get the vapor I want out of it. Thanks for the idea though.
