I use Now VG exclusively and it works great for my tastes. Not all VG are the same, some will not agree with your taste buds. shop around until you find one that works for you. This goes for PG and Nic also. These are the main ingrediants in a juice and if one is giving you a bad taste the finished product won't be as good as it could be.

I have used Now foods VG (alot) and just as an FYI Food grade is equal to or better than USP grade as it is designated only for products that can be safely ingested. The vape is outstanding and very thick:)

I disagree strongly with that statement. OP, do some research :) Now was USP grade until about a year ago. There is a definite difference in it now. Sure, it makes plumes of vapor but so does higher quality USP grade stuff IMO.

Here is a good explanation talking about supplements but still applies -

Food Grade versus Pharmaceutical Grade
Does food Grade versus.Pharmaceutical Grade really make that much difference?
Should I be concerned if the product I use currently is Food Grade?

The heart of the difference between poor products and the best products is the way in which they are manufactured.
Food Grade standard
Without getting too technical here food grade standard is essentially what all foods are made too. For example lets look at chocolate chip cookies. No two are the same. No two have the same size and have the same number of chocolate chips and that’s ok because its a biscuit. But its not ok for a supplement you are trusting to help.prevent cancer.and other chronic Illness!
99% of all supplements are made to this standard, so no two pills are the same and also because of this standard.the manufacturer doesn't have to guarantee that what is on the label is inside each and every.tablet. So you may get inadequate doses or too much of one element which can even be toxic to your body.
Pharmaceutical Grade
This is the standard to which all drugs are made too. The highest standard in the world and guarantees product to product, pill to pill that they are the same, that they are potent, pure, bio-available (which means in a form that your body can absorb it not pass it straight through)
So don’t even look at a product that isn’t Pharmaceutical grade.
The product I use is made to the highest standard available on the planet for anything that can go into your mouth its called "US Pharmacopoeia and British Pharmacopoeia standards".
This also means that doctors and physicians can use and recommend this type of supplement as it conforms to the very highest standards they use everyday in their medical practices. In fact many doctors and physicians use and recommend this particular product range that I use. You wont find too.many doctors who actively use and recommend products and the ones that do will only use Pharmaceutical grade products. This is the reason why until recently most doctors have been unanimous that supplements are a waste of time and money, well they were right, most of them are. With the overwhelming exception of a few Pharmaceutical grade products.
Herbalife is a Pharmaceutical Grade company, this is a page taken from….-Nutritional Supplements & Best Vitamin Supplements.

OP, read carefully when buying something you think is USP. If it has been re-bottled anywhere except a USP certified Lab, it is no longer USP rated.

True but being manufactured to Pharmaceutical standards is still better than being mgf to food grade standards any day. I just added the info so that the OP could have more accurate info here to base his decision. It is no matter to me what you choose to use :)

Maybe this is the reason NOW isn't USP. Anyway, I use it and like it - I prefer it to the USP glycerin you can get at CVS.

Some of the most important points here are

Only the pharma grade of these materials can be used for inhalation. All other grades contain contaminants to a varying degree.

Even Food Grade should not be inhaled, because the digestive system can handle the contaminants in it that the lungs may not be able to. An example of this kind of difference is the flavoring chemical diacetyl, which has a very strong butter popcorn aroma. It is safe for ingestion (eating) as the digestive system can neutralize it; but it can be fatal when inhaled over a period of time as it causes a degenerative lung disease called 'popcorn lung', Bronchiolitis Obliterans.
