Just hoping someone would clarify this. Is this ratio subjective? I am trying to go for a nice throat hit just like my SmokeTip carto. Not sure what the ratio is on that but I love the taste and also the hit I get from it when I pull. But the only thing is the battery life on the SmokeTip are bad.

I have been trying to get into juices and someone mentioned PureCig blend from FSUSA and I want to purchase that to try but I am confused as to which ration I should get for the best throat hit.

Your choice on PG vs VG is entirely about opinion. General consensus is PG=flavor VG=vapor and nicotine level+pg=TH. I haven't tried messing with nic levels too much but if you read enough you'll find people claiming the exact opposite.

Personally I haven't noticed THAT much of a difference aside that I got more TH from VG but it was smoother where PG was harsher for me. I think it's more how your own body reacts to different solutions being inhaled. My GF preferred PG on regular attys but we both lean VG on LR attys. Easiest way to determine what you like is do as I did and get 2 5ml bottles of the same flavor and try each alone then mixed 50/50. I did notice more aftertaste with PG though. When it comes to vapor you're all VG.

On atomizers:

Your atomizer makes a HUGE difference in flavor. Some swear by LR attys and some by high voltage mods. Either will give you far more kick to your flavors.

I automatically assumed higher voltage or lower resistance would surely add far more harshness but ironically the opposite was true. My first 15 or so bottles of juice were all on regular 510 attys at normal 510 voltages. I was simply satisfied with the flavors I'd collected and figured that was what vaping tasted like. After reading and researching a lot of other's experiences with higher voltages or low resistance atomizers I ordered a 5 pack of LibertyFlight's LR attys and some higher mah batteries to handle them. It opened my eyes as much as my first puff on a PV ever did. All my bottles of flavors were far better than I'd tasted before and I spent a night rinsing attys and going back through my collection resampling everything.

Now I have 5 batteries and as many regular attys I refuse to touch.

The LR route is an easy way to start and can be had for cheaper than purchasing a big mod with batteries and chargers to rock high voltages. I simply picked up a Riva kit from Liberty Flights for only 30 bucks which has 2 batteries, charger, 2 510 attys (I tossed these aside) and 10 blank carts ready to fill with your juice of choice. Even at 750 mah I still get a good 4-6 hours on the LR atty with as heavy as I vape. (around 4-5 ml/day) I don't suggest using an LR atty on any regular 510 battery. It's just too much for the little battery to deal with and you're going to kill it.

Nowadays when anyone even mentions trying vaping I direct them to bypass the 510 and get a Riva. There's no point in paying an extra 20-30 bucks for the inadequate batteries the 510s ship with and the Riva can handle the LR attys if the 510s don't hit hard enough to get them to toss the analogs. Plus having the regular 510 connector they're compatible with all the 510 hardware that's out there.

My next step is a true 1300mah riva battery and some LR cartomizers so I can reduce what I take with me each day to just that battery and 2 carts.
