The fact that PG is a lot thinner means it doesn't last anywhere near as long as VG. Ever since i started vapin i always used VG(about 18 months). Only recently did i try PG and i was a bit surprised at how quickly it evaporates. Takes about an hour to empty my "Vision" clearomizer when in contrast VG can last about 5-6 hours. Value for money wise i feel like i've been a little ripped of. PG does come in handy to thin down my VG though, so it does have its uses. why anyone would use PG as a base is a bit of a mystery to me seeing as VG can produce tonnes more vapour. So all in all VG is viable and PG simply isn't. Anyone disagree ?

For those that don't know what PG-VG are: PG is "Propylene Glycol"
VG is "Vegetable Glycerine" or Glycerol

have you tried using de-ionised water to thin your vg rather than pg . i get my vg from boots chemist and my water from halford ( car batter stuff) consistency and long lasting id say its great , its cheap as hell. im just struggling with flsavour concentrate and how much to put in for the "perfect" mix.
absalutely tonnes of vapor production. no throat hit however , but with my vv battery i just up the voltage and i stil get a nice hit.

but its far cheaper than purchasing vg and pg from stores thats for sure. i must add i also dont use nicotine in my mixes either so i no longer use the pg nic base.

Distilled water !. i've been meaning to get some but keep forgetting. Thanks for remindin me.
Have you tried using a flavoured e liquid instead of concentrate. Ive heard the concentrates clog up hardware. It's what i use for flavour !. I'm still usin 45mg nicotine e liquid but it is reduced by thinning though not by much. I had bought vgrom boots once it's only about £1.70 for 250ml, it's in the cough syrup section aint it. I've still got about half a bottle left but i don't use it. When i was using it i'd add fodd flavouring, water based food flavouring. That actually worked really well. That stuff comes in little plastic bottles from the cake ingredients isle. Strawberry was my favourite. Only about a quid a bottle the size of booze minitures.

I have had the diametric opposite results with VG vs PG.

PG is thinner, but VG in my CE4s (even with VGs higher viscosity) blows out about 2x as quickly as a juice with mainly PG.

My ratios run the gamut of 80/20 PG/VG all the way down to 30/70 (thick stuff).

I had always looked at this as a trade off... you get a little more flavor with more PG, but you get more vapor with VG (plus a tinge of sweetness).

Rockin' my e-pipe is always heavy on the VG, on the go leans PG. The type of juice can also help dictate the ratio.

I love the variety, sure beats "stinky.... or minty flavored stinky" any day! :)
