Yes, it works. In my experience, I just punch a hole a little bigger than usual (maybe about 1/8") and it works fine, though I occasionally give a couple primer puffs to make sure it doesn't run dry. Make sure the carto is well saturated when you first fill the tank and it will usually continue to wick well. I've had some difficulties with specific juices that are particularly thick or prone to gunking up (Johnson's Creek Swiss Dark, in particular), but most of the time haven't had many issues. In general, I prefer Boges or Fusions in my tanks, but dual coils do work with VG juices as long as you can keep it wicking properly

I agree with killjoy on that one: definitely need to keep checking the filler that its fully saturated, priming puffs, bigger hole. Boba's bounty and other AVE juices (pretty thick VG liquid) I find are a lot better on single coil carto's (boge 3.0 ohm) but instead of punching a hole I go with two cuts with a cutting wheel on the dremel. One right at the bottom and one towards the top on the opposite side. Then just tilt it a little bit so the lower cut is submerged and the upper cut is where there's air and give it a few good primer puffs so you see bubbles come up from the bottom. The only way to keep a thick liquid like boba's wicking is to, like killjoy said, keep it well-saturated. If its been sitting for a bit and looks dry, I just unscrew the carto and give it a good 3-5 drops into the airhole on the battery connector side. Oh and take nice hard pulls every once in a while to keep it going.

I've been using a Smoketech single coil 3.0 flanged tank carto with AVE's Raf and have had zero issues no burning or lack of flow, I have not modified the hole at all on these.

The key with the thick juice as was mentioned is to let it soak in, add to the top and take primer puffs without heat to keep things going from time to time.
