Thanks! So, what colour Pmini? ... and what have you topped it with? Every time I say Provari I think of that ancient Dean Martin song Volare :p
WARNING: Etsy is about as bad for your piggybank as smoking is for your health! But it's fun!!! Enjoy!;)

I'm glad I'm not the only one who's been on a buying spree! Just thinking about how much I've invested in equipment and supplies already, I can't wait for the savings to catch up! One thing for sure, I've been analog free for almost 5 days, and I feel so much better. The payback on that is priceless!

You are so right! I quit for 5 years once and felt soooooo good. I want that back again and this seems like such a better way than cold turkey or gum. The fact that the hubster wants to quit now too is awesome. We tried together before and that's how I got the name Snapdragon - his is worse!!

5 days is HUGE! Congratulations! You're a non-smoker!! .... and a much healthier vapour-er??? :)

Me And my wife decided to quit at the same time too. We've had the back and forth of one quits and the other keeps smoking and it just wasn't working. I'm the same way, just keep buying and buying and buying. The cool thing is that I probably have a supply now that will last for a year or so and Im supporting 3 ppl plus myself on only my smoking budget per month.

@snapdragon welcome to the vaping world and to ECF. Hate to rain on your parade but Monday is a holiday and there won't be any mail delivery.

WHAT! but, but, but ....... all my tracking notices say Feb. 18. I never even thought of that - sigh.

UPDATE: I just checked ........... and there is!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Canada post still delivers on Family Day. Sucks for them but I'll appreciate them all the more. Okay Lulu - no more bad news from you!:p I bet you're a riot on April first - hahaha

Edited to say: Family Day up here - President's Day there. Who knew! ;) Thanks Robino1!

Here in the USA we don't have delivery this Monday because of Presidents Day.

Congrats on all your new toys coming! If you have questions when they get here, just pop on and ask away :)

If you feel that you are getting out of control on spending......can I just say "Spreadsheet"? It has helped me tremendously. I am $456.35 in the black :rickroll: as of this last Friday. Started vaping September, the day I signed up for ECF. Tiny tip, don't log the amount that you spent until it arrives  Gives the "What I spent on cigs" time to kick in one more time.

Great minds Robino1!

So far I have a spreadsheet for purchases, one for hardware and one for juices and flavours. There was a lot to process the first few days so that helped a lot. I've spend a lot more then I thought I would (famous last words - haha) but I'm still within budget so its all good. Hubs and I share(d) a carton/wk and up here that's a little over $300. Shouldn't take too long to break even.

You're doing sooooo great, from October! 4 months, 2 days and counting!! Congrats!!!!

I wish I was vaping in Florida right now. Its been snowing up here, off and on for the last few days and we smoke(d) outside, but it's very pretty.

Thanks for the tip! Happy President's Day!!

ETS: Clarification $300/month

Whoa whoa whoa... a carton is $300?!? I've bought $35 cartons in the past two years! That's why it's going to take me so long to catch up to my cig spending. But like my dad already told me whose been vaping for 9 months, "You quit smoking, stop worrying about the money, you're ALREADY ahead!"

I'm so sorry, I should have said $300/month. A carton here (Canada) runs $76 for the brand we smoke (that's a mid-priced brand). Times that by 4 weeks in a month and it's close to $300. I'm always shocked at the low cost of a pack of Marlboro when I travel state-side.

Just read your initial post and i have to agree. Its hard to quit when your significant other is a smoker also. Hence why i just started vaping and got my gf one also so she can quit too.

What a nice person you are! Hmmmm an e-cig for Valentine's Day? Works for me! :) How's it going so far?

Its been going great, I smoked alot before (1PAD). Everytime we were together it incited my gf to smoke more cause every time i lit up an analog, she would light one up also. Since i stopped smoking analogs, she doesnt feel the need to smoke one as often either(maybe guilt from making me want to smoke?). Since i gotten her the PV, she probably has 1 or 2 analog every couple of days, she's only been vaping for about a week but she enjoys the customization aspects of it with all the tanks/colors.

Well, it's finally Monday and time to start stalking the courier. I'm expecting to lose my e-cig virginity with a 510 T starter kit today and I have no idea what to wear! :p.

I already know that the smaller battery and all the charging is likely to get pretty old pretty quickly but that should be taken care of tomorrow or Wednesday when the EGO Cs arrive.

Wednesday or Thursday I should get to try VV first hand with the Twist and the Hubster should get his 601 C e-Pipe.

Now on Friday ..... nope, I think I should save that for a surprise ........ I'll give you a hint .... it's pink. OH NO SHE DIDN'T!?! :toast:

ETS: I'm not totally green as I did try a disposable last summer and really liked it, but I only consider that flirting .....

I'm vaping! :)

I have a tiny issue though and need advice. I only have 2 RTV flavours and I've tried them both and don't like them. I have lots of flavours for mixing, and PG/VG/32mg/bottles etc...... I'm sure I can manage mixing a few but have heard they have to steep. Should I do it anyway? Caramel Apple just isn't doing it for me ... what was I thinking?

Definitely try steeping them. 48 hours cap and dripper off. Shake several times a day. After the 48 hours, cap and dripper back on shaking whenever you think about it. Try them in a week or two....see if they improve. If not, put them away for a while. Your taste buds will change up on you as they heal from the effects of smoking. ;)

Welcome to the vape world!!!!!! :D

Sorry to hear that you are not liking your first flavors. My first was an RY4 and thankfully I really liked it - well at least for the first week anyway. Not sure what flavors you got for mixing. I am very new to the DIY - so by no means an expert. What I have read is that some fruit flavors do not require as much or possibly any steeping.

The one I have made recently that I have been enjoying is a peppermint mix. I also added a bit of sweetner, Koolada and a few drops of menthol. I have not tried vaping it immediately - but for sure after 24 hrs it has been good.

Good luck and I hope you can find a juice that tastes good - you have so much new stuff to try this week  you for sure need a good juice too :toast:
