I bought 2 Vision Cartomizers. I recieved them yesterday and filled the first and let it sit for 30 minutes. Life was good! I filled the second today with a different flavor and it sat for a couple of hours. I pulled out a freshly charged battery and attched the cart AI filled today and trying to pull air through this thing is like trying to suck a golf ball through a garden hose!! Can some one shead some light on what I ca do?

Specifically what TYPE of Vision cartomizer and what type of battery are you using?

Also does it draw alright off the battery?

Vision Clearomizer 2.5 On eGo-T battery bought 2 of the same. The first one works fine. and yes it draws fine off the battery.

Don't. The first time I had something that needed that, it took me like a day to figure it out.

Hey I am still having problems. I got it to work once but now it is doing the same thing. One works all the time. The other one very hard to get air through. I can't figure it out.

The problem isn't something you are doing wrong. When you tighten it up the air holes are getting blocked because that one isn't built correctly, that's why the other one works fine.

I would ask the vendor for a replacement.

No way I can fix it?

The problem is that the skirt is to tight a fit over the eGo threads, and is cutting off the air flow. The easiest fix is to stick a 510-510 shorty extension under it ... it just looks like crap, but works great. Some are drilling a little hole in the skirt. Sometimes it's as simple to fix as just pulling the center pin down a little in the clearo.

The weird thing is and I know I tried this earlier when I put the addy on my other battery it works perfectly. The other addy also works perfectly on it too. It boggles my mind.

Yeah…as standard as "510" or "ego" are, there still seem to be some variations.

If you tighten it on and start unscrewing it, how much do you have to loosen it before you can draw? And does it make an electrical contact there?

If it's not solid or it's not making a good contact, I'd probably talk to the vendor.

Second thought: is the center post adjustable on those things? The vision vivi novas have really long center posts. You can (kinda) adjust some revisions by taking the atomizer head off, screwing it onto your battery, then putting the atomizer head back on. It kinda just pushes the center post back up……or breaks your battery if you're not careful and the center post isn't adjustable.

Is yours one of the rebuildable ones, and does it seem like it'd work the same way?

The ones I got are not rebuildable. I have 5 more coming so I think I will be ok. I should be recieving my eGo Twist 1000ma battery on Monday, and I have a vivi nova on my wishlist. I see you are from Atlanta. I live in west ga (Carrolton area). Do you know of any local places to buy equipment and juices? I plan on DIY my juice in the near future after I get over the pain of what I have spent so far.

You need to get something very small with a hook at the end and pull it out. I have a small screwdriver punch that I bent and sharpened. A sharp tool might work as there's a small ridge on the inside of the airway. The new rebuildables don't have the tight draw issue.

Just use needle nose to pull it out at bottom?

Welcome to life with the clearomizer. Great performance with one and utter crapola on the next :(

Lol. that's why I skipped over them and went straight for the vivi nova.

@mike: no, I don't know of anywhere to get vaping stuff. Some of the head shops in little 5 points sell ego T kits……for $170. And there is/was a smoking everywhere kiosk that sold minis for like $200 at lenox mall. I just shop online.

2 of the head shops on cheshire bridge do sell some generic chinese juice, though. It's not bad if you're in a really tight spot, but they charge like $15-20 for a 5ml bottle of stuff that tastes vaguely like garbage burned in tobacco oil.
