Hi folks.
I started vaping 3 weeks ago on a standard ego-c setup with seperate atomisers and cartridges. Anyway, I'm not dabbling with other juice delivery systems. Tried the Kanger T3 which was just an truly awful experience with gurgling, juice in my mouth, and a terrible taste to the juice.
Anyway, I bought myself a vision V3 rebuildable clearo after a few recommendations. On the day it arrived I soaked it for a few hours in hot water and then filled it with juice, however I got a nasty plastic aftertaste on the exhale. This continued with various juices. What I did like was a nice warm vape, with decent throat hit etc. so I kept with it, soaked it again, then filled it and left it sitting on its side for a day, and it seems to be tasting much better now. I've yet to try other juices again to see if the improvement remains. unfortunately I've had to send it back as the tank does not screw onto the atomiser base properly so am getting a replacement.
Basically my question is about that nasty plastic taste. Am I right in assuming that these clearos just can't be used straight from the box and instead need some time to properly bed in before you can get a good vape with full flavour and no nasty aftertaste??? If that is the case and I am getting a replacement, then I guess I'll have to go through the whole routine again before I can enjoy it? Just seems like a lot of hassle.
