Hello all!

Im currently using the long wick vision stardust..dont know exactly what version:( loving the vapor, loving the throat hit and loving the flavor but i keep coming across a few problems

i can't get consecutive good hits off of it, i'll hit it once great vapor great flavor great throat hit and i'll hit it again and it'll have a great flavor and throat hit but mediocre vapor

it's also been pooling on my battery and ive been forced to clean it multiple times a day quickly with a qtip etc..

the silicone cap is on properly and I always go extracautious and never overfill what gives??

btw using it on a 3.7V Ego battery

I have one too: non-rebuildable, but with a short wick. The units are inexpensive, so my guess is it's a quality control issue. In my case, the hits can be inconsistent if the wicks aren't completely wet (tip down, twirl, repeat), but with long wicks that might not be a problem.

After reading your post, I started messing around with mine. I took it off of the battery and slid a tiny piece of paper towel up into the tube from the bottom (wondering if a little juice might have accidentally gotten in the top when I filled it). I got out a tiny bit of liquid. Then I very gently blew into the tube from the bottom. Nothing happened. Then I took the tip off and and gently pulled on the center tube with rubber-tipped tweezers. I thought the tube would move, but the whole inside part moved. Oh oops! I put the tip back on to squish the atty down. I then noticed a small amount of liquid had spilled on my lap (about 8-10 drops worth). I think it came from the bottom, since when I put it back on the battery I got a pretty good pool after a couple of drags. I took it off of the battery again, dried the battery connection with a q-tip and bits of paper towel; did the same with the Stardust, and put it back on the battery. I don't know which of the above steps (if any of them) made a difference, but it's not leaking...for now. Bottom line:

Unless you're like me, the kind of kid who took toasters apart, get a vivi nova mini ;)

I have three, and one leaks and the other two don't. All of them will leave a slight pool of juice on the battery. The one that leaks will fill the battery post area. I think it's just how they are.

You can post anywhere in the forum after 5 posts, except the classifieds and you need to be verified.

Are you experiencing gurgling and small amounts of juice getting in your mouth as well? I have noticed some super thin juices don't seem to work well with the long wick version. Too much juice is being wicked to the coil and floods it, causing the symptoms I mentioned and leaking to the battery. I have been struggling with this for over a day, trying all sorts of things to no avail... until I put a slightly thicker juice in (similar flavor, didn't clean it). Now it's performing flawlessly.
