Ill start off by saying ive been vaping for over a month on an ego. It did not offer the battery life i wanted to so i bought a silver bullet.

My dilemma is i love using an atty, it gives great flavor and throat hit. i cannot stand dripping unless im at home. So i bought some DCT tanks and now i have a couple vivi novas. They do not offer the flavor or throat hit in any way that an atty does. Flavors are very muted and throat hit is non existent.

Looking for advise as to where to go, im guessing that i will need to move into a VV mod and have been looking at a provari but the cost is putting me off.

Thanks,

Jeff

As far as throat hit, vv can help. You can also try the 1.8 ohm head for the vivi. Different juices and nic levels make a big difference too.
The vv Gripper seems to be one of the better "bang for buck" devices at the moment.

As far as flavor.....also juice dependent, obviously. You can try a rebuildable atty\tank. They offer much better flavor imo.
I won't offer any options for rba because there are many and there are many threads on the forum about them.

Hope this helps.

I would say if you like the taste from an atomizer a I would agree with the both of the last 2 posters. A Reo is a great way to go or possible another bottom feeder but I have only tried Reos which are just great. You also may want to look into rebuildable atties such as genisis style atties. Since you already have a mod that would be a cheaper way to go if you don't want to buy a whole new mod. There are Chinese made Genesis now that are affordable and work very well. You would be able to use them on your silver bullet just fine and the flavor is better than anything else out there. Here is a Did clone or "Griffin" atomizer.

There is another that should be hitting the US vendors soon called an AGA that is all solid SS that is just as good as some of the more exensive genesis atties,

A phiniac tank and a 4.5 oHm smoktek cart used on a VV or VW device is my all around set up. Ive never seen anyone say I love my DCTs they give the best flavor TH ect.... You have to punch your own carts to get the best for you I like 2 holes some like one others like 3 I think it just depends on how hard you draw and how often. Once you get your system down its pretty much hassle free and becomes a thoughtless ritual. Yes 50$ seems like alot for a tank but when you never have to worry about it leaking breaking reacting with any juice, or cracking piece of mind is worth the extra 20$ over a cheepo tank.

You can kick that SB too rather than buying another device.

I looked into the kick and thought it was a great idea, until I saw the price. For the price of the kick and ext ring I could buy a young June and have a nice backup pv.

i would prefer to use a tank type system for work and on the go. i see plenty of juice reviews where people are using tanks and getting good flavor. with the tanks i have i do not see how that is possible, the taste from dripping to using a cart or vivi is completely different. almost like a different flavor all together.

You won't get the same flavor from any tank as you do with dripping, is why so many suggested a bottom feeder. It gives the convenience of a tank but the taste of dripping

There's nothing that compares to dripping and that's why the Reo line has such a large and loyal following...the quality of dripping without the inconvenience.

I agree and it's because with dripping you're going straight from the juice to the element- no filler or wicks to change/ mute or filter the flavor/ hit. VV might help with your issue but it's also a matter of matching the right ohms delivery device to the PV you're using. On my 3.7 volt devices (same as your SB) my fave carto is the Smok Tech XL 1.7 single coil carto. With my Vivi I use the 1.8 ohms head.
The bottom line...if you want the guarantee of a drip like hit then the Reo is what you need. If you think maybe VV is what you need then you could try the Spinner (3- 4.8 volts) BUT I don't see VV being the answer and it could possibly be a waste of $$ and add to your frustration.
