So I picked up some clearomizers. I love how much juice they hold. I got the low rez ones (2.1 ohms) which is standard res to some but any way.

First thing I did was pull the tip off and then removed the silcon (soft plastic) insert that goes over the coil and keeps the liquid from running into the tip if you lay it down. Why? Well I wanted to see how this thing looks.

I put it back together and filled it up with my favorite juice. I was vaping away just fine on it last night. When I woke up this morning the well on my LTVV was full of juice and the center air vent was full. Also the blue LED won't light any more. Did I completely mess this thing up? Where might the leak be coming from? I left it standing straight up all night not on it's side.

I opened another one and this time I just screwed it on my LTVV and put in about 1.5 ml of liquid. I'm hoping I don't have that same problem and I'm not going to turn it on and off of the LTVV like I did with the first one.

The led's in these things never last for more than a few days for me, as far as leaking, make sure you have the cup seal all the was back down....problem with that is that i like having it raised slightly so the wicks will let more juice into the coil, so it is a double edged sword, you want more juice flow into the coil to prevent burnt hits but that leads to flooding, that leads to leakage and we all know that leads to the dark side....they are troubled devices IMO. I stll vape em every once in a while though.

Interesting about the LED light. I keep hoping mine burns out as it is terrible for driving at night. Keep wondering which wire I should snip :) Instead I just use a big ... ego carto at night now.

I've only had mine leak out the bottom twice, both after a refill and I think it was pressure from putting cap back on. So now when I put the tip on I inhale the mouth piece when putting it back on and no problem since (think I read this in the last thread about them). They do seem to leak if they aren't stored up right, but guess that's expected.

I'm still using the one I bought in January and it's held up fine. The LED died after about a week and it's only leaked out of the battery connector end twice - but that was only after I overfilled it (past half).

I did the Mindfield mod on it as soon as I got it though. Never tried it stock. I used a Dremel grinding tip (green) to widen the silicon stopper and it's such a good fit that I can flip it upside down and shake it vigorously without any juice leaking out.

Everything is tight in there,so if you twisted the center post while reinserting the top silicone piece, you broke the led connection; its very sensible as it seems to be soldered on the base which is plated with somethingI think that prevents a good weld...but can be done.

Dont mess with them, just shove the bottle tip as much as you can near one of the 2 openings and squeeze;or use a long needle.

Gently suck air through the tip while reinserting it.

Negative pressure builds up inside, normal with silicone seals and juice disapearing quickly...remove tip and repeat the reinsertion procedure from time-to-time.

I have all 5 of mine filled, with no leaking. They've been sitting flat and haven't had a problem. There's some fiddling I've done to get them this way though.

Straight out of the box, push the inside rubber piece down nice and tightly. Don't do this without the battery connected or the inside tube will slide through.

Clean the tip with 99% alcohol or something similar, then wrap 3-3.5" of scotch tape around the part which inserts into the tube. Cut off the excess and when you put the tip back in, it will form a nice tight seal.

Now take some scissors and cut the top part of the tube off; Only enough so that the rubber part of the tip contacts the rubber inside part. This will get rid of the extra gap and stops "gurgling" and juice getting into the tip.

This takes maybe 5 minutes to do and you end up with a nicely sealed unit. When doing this I can lay the clearomizers flat for hours on end, pick it up and vape with no gurgle or leaks. I haven't had any wicking problems. Keep in mind that any top coil clearomizer will have to be tipped from time to time.
