HI. Remember those old fashioned glass vitamin bottles with the glass stopper top? just found a bunch of those and am wondering if they would be suitable for freezing nic juice. I'm unsure because of how well they would seal. what do you all think?
i think i have read you can store it best in the freezer (even if the vg doesn't freeze in several posts). my concern is whether the bottles will not have a tight enough seal, even when wrapped in plastic???
Cork does 'breathe' but it would work for a while. Until you opened it. The frozen cork would break up. I suggest some teflon tape around the tapered glass tops mating surface. Don't use rubber. Silicone would also work.

It is the PG that will not freeze. It is commonly used as an airplane deiceing agent and in "green" people and pet friendly antifreeze. Never tried to freeze VG though... I'm probably just making things up again.
As to your bottles, a little butcher's wax might just do the trick. Think uncolored paraffin or one of those clear crayons that came with the egg dye kits last Easter. Those glass stoppers worked when they were used way back when why not now? I think it would have a really cool old time pharmacist look! Fill one with water or distilled water, rub the stopper with wax, seal and shake like the devil. No leak? Fantastic!
