For those of you who loved my vivi nova 2.5 "OMG" post, here is another. The vivi mini is in my hand.

First, I'm not into aesthetics too much but I will say it looks cool! As in very cool... Slap that atop a black Twist it looks sleek and chic, even without the cool thread guide/adaptor/shield whatver they are called. You could pull it out and vape backstage at the Academy Awards...
"Why yes, Angelina Jolie, I did with an Academy Award and that is a Vivi Mini".

Second, it's pretty clear that this is a solid product. The threads to the top and bottom seem deep and the metal covers solid. The plastic head case sits in the seal well to stop leaks. Like I posted with the 2.5, these are products that you can tell people cared to design, not another piece of leaky garbage.

I only vaped 4ml out of it and we shall see how durable it is and how long it lasts, but I can initially say this seems like a winner to me out of the box. Makes me want to have like 10 around one for each juice.

So far: solid, sleek and cool. Looks like a winner!!

And, yes, it uses the Vivi 2.5 heads ;)

(For those of you new to the Vivi 2.5 or the mini, it will mute your juice. For most juice may not be a problem, for light subtle DIY stuff, be warned).

I'll have one coming soon. I'm waiting on my last order to come in before I make another.

Does anyone know of a vendor carrying these and the 1000 mah Twist at a reasonable price? gotvapes's price on the twist is so high that I could order it from somewhere else, pay for priority shipping, and still come out on top.

I don't really have any issues with my Nova 2.5 so no reason to buy the mini although It looks nice. I don't really notice the flavors being muted to much using the plastic shell, same goes for the aluminum. a lot better flavor and performance from it then my carto tank that's for sure, and I don't drip so the vivi is about as good as it gets without having to deal with cartomizers.

Same here, I havent found that my flavor is too muted. I hear that the muteness goes away for those that do find it with their juice. Sometimes in second fill or even after a few hits. I dont know but at the price of 9.99 to 15.99 I think they are worth it. Compared to a good glass tank by Phiniac (40-50.00) or those gorgeous GG atties(130.00) or Zens, I think they are an easy option and if you like to mod and tinker I hear you can make the vents larger and all sorts of modifications people say it tastes and performs just as nice as some of those expensive beauties. Now if they brought out some more choices in the top and bottom caps of the vivi that would be awesome, The chrome is nice but I can see a nice black anodized steel or other colors would be cool. I did order some replacement tanks, one in aluminum black and another translucent black. THere are great choices in colors, only down side of the aluminum is that you cant see your juice levels, but thats okay, I just keep my wicks wet my tipping or swirling my tank like a magic wand to keep wick wet.

Just ordered from eletronicstix.com. They are an authorized joye tech dealer and have the twist 1000 Mah for 24 bucks plus sell the vivi.

Im sure you will enjoy the both , you will be in vape heaven! Great price too.

Oh, I own a Twist and a full size vivi nova v2. I enjoy them except that the vivi nova seems to have a pretty long break-in period (even after a simple cleaning) before I feel it start performing at its peak. It's a good vape when it works, though.

I'm still debating about whether or not I want to deal with the smaller size……I like the full size just fine……just might be nice to have something a little less bulky. Then again, I could just use slim carto tanks for the same thing, which seem more consistent though not as good at the top. That and I really hate my cartos' failure mode: they seem to just flood with no warning. The vivi nova seems get progressively gunkier until it tastes weird……then I clean it and it's a day or two of dealing with mild flavor bordering on burnt until it breaks in again.

I really wish there was a clear winner, but I'm actually really liking the vivi as a good compromise so far.
