Thank you for taking the time to post your fix and results.Loved mine at first so I bought a second and they worked well for two months with 1.8 Ohm and a 1850 mAh 4 V battery. Then all of a sudden it didnt matter what juice I was using it would start to give dry hitsif I did more than three consecutive hits within a minute.I could let it sit for about a minute and it would work well for another three hits and the cycle would repeat itself.I thought it was the juice at first and that may be a small part of it.The place i order mine from has gotten crazy busy in the last few weeks and the quality has definatly suffered.I can see this by comparing my favorite flavors from what they were to the ones i get now.(not due to steeping either)So I tryed your advice and voila!!!! Back to the old trusted Nova I fell in live with.Thank you Thank you Thank you

The reason why the Vivi Novas lack flavor and burn, is because the slot restricts the juice flow. I've modded mine. It's a simple fix. Just drill the bottom slot so the wick is not blocked.

The bottom slot? Are you talking about the two slots the wick goes through on each side of the coil? On mine, the wick moves easily in the slots. I did remove the center insulator that fits around the coil to prevent shorts. That seems to enhance the flavor a bit. The insulator can be removed gently without cutting. It has a slot on each side of the bottom of the tube with holes for the wick to pass through on each side. I used a thin pointed penknife tip to coax it up and out, pulling a little on each side until it popped up.
