Just wondering if anyone has any experience with both? I have tried the Kranger's and am quite impressed, I just wish I could use my own tip on it. I plan on picking up some Vivi's this week but was curious as to what to expect?
I have 2 Vision CC Clearos (Stardust 2?), 4 Kanger T2s and 1 Vision CC Vivi Nova (I guess that's the 2.5). I love all 3 types and use all 3 regularly. Though I find I use the Kangers the most as they seem to be the most rugged. The eGo threadding rather than a 510 thread with a skirt (Vivi doesn't have a skirt), the Kangers just seem to feel more solid on my eGo batteries.
If the center post sticks out the bottom it keeps it from screwing down securely on the battery (any battery, not just the LT). It flops a little from side to side and I'm assuming it is not good for the threads on the battery. I used mine for several weeks before I filed it flush. It does not affect performance.
If the Nova (or any attachment) will stand upright on a flat surface, then there is no problem. If the center pin sticks out it can be shortened with a fine file, sandpaper, or a sharpening stone. It doesn't take long and you don't need anything motorized.
P.S. Sometimes they screw up and it is perfect right out of the box! Lol
