yeah I don't think I'll mind the twist n twirl at all (as ex smokers, we're used to weird little habits)...but so far (and granted I'm only an hour into owning this thing) the flavor is really muted. I know clearo's in general have a muted flav compared to direct dripping, but I find the T2/Kanger clearo that I also got has superior flavor so far. I really want to love the nova so I'm gonna keep going, and I hope it's just a "breaking in period"

I got me a brand new mini vivi a week ago and I noticed the same thing. The flavor was a bit muted. By the end of the first tank the thing was kicking some ..... I think it is more a function of the juice than the device though. I use Kangers T2's also. I like them. But I think I am favoring the vivi's a little more. They're just more consistent. But I like the T2's also (and they're cheaper to be fair). Report back with an update on that vivi of yours.

I'm starting to think I should have waited a bit - I'm only a week in to being smoke-free and it's been going really well (been direct dripping and I finally found my groove) I think maybe i need to revert for a bit...let some more time pass before I start switching it up! I love the idea of being able to use a tank...but the flavour/TH has to be there in full-force....I'll keep dabbling with it and hopefully I can grow into it (even if there's a more subtle hit over DD'ing)

I hear the air sound when i take a drag....
yup, short wicks are soaked, with all the plastic/parts attached properly....
Using it on a standard eGo 1000mah. In the same shipment i also got the Kanger/T2 clearo and it's worked amazingly right away....did I get a dud vivi?! agh!
I could try swapping out the atty head and seeing if it's just a dud atty?

Sounds like the middle post on your vivi isnt touching the positive post on your battery. You need to "pull your post" out more to touch the positive post. if it was touching, there would be vapor :)

yeppers dripping is more intense. when your out and about, use the vivi to get more used to it.

Doppel...you are absolutely right. The biggest trap I see vapers fall into (me included) is flooding themselves with too many gadgets. It's too hard to troubleshoot any one device when you are rotating between 3, 4, 5, or more gadgets. Now, dripping is rather simple so moving onto a clearo shouldn't bury you. Nothing will beat the flavor of dripping. But clearos aren't too bad and sure makes it easier to vape without having to drip every 5 minutes. Stick with your Nova now that you have it. It is a proven, reliable product and used my many, many people. Become a pro with that thing and you will be rewarded. Sounds like you don't give up easily and that will prove as an asset for you.

this is a good thread for me as i have my ViVi Nova on it's way....im really excited!! Just wanna touch on what teamscon said about "pulling your post" this also goes for the post on your ego battery. The last week or so i have run into my ego battery post being pushed in due to switching from ego-c head to DCT tanks and a 510 atty and when i tried to charge it...nothing! I had to "pull the post" on the battery it's self to make connection with the charger.

Did you try the Bonuts with your dripping?
