Vivi Nova isn't giving much flavor!

I'm new to vaping and this community, but today I got the Vivi Nova tank in the mail, and I tried it all day now on my Ego twist... and compared to the standard iFill e-cig I been using, which had great flavor in it btw, this one isn't giving me the full flavor of my juice. It's producing tons of vapor though. I cranked down the voltage to the lowest, and it's still not giving me enough flavor or it tastes kinda slightly burnt/plastic-y with my juice that i slightly taste. How could it be that my juice tasted so much better on some cheaper unknown battery but on the ego and with this tank I'm not getting the same taste? Rather more vapor... and my coil is on 2.4 ohm's which is the same as I had on the other battery. Anyone else experience this? Or what should I do now??

Perhaps give the unit a good cleaning first which is something I always do prior to using a new tank. Another possibility is the juice you are using does not have the same flavor you are used to (unless it is the same juice) and it may need some steep time for it's own flavor to develop more. Sorry I don't have much else to offer as I am still new to this game. :(

I didn't wash it, that might be why, might not be why, I don't know.. but I'll wash it now.... but I doubt it's that.... This isn't a new juice, it's a month old and I've been vaping it everyday.... tried it just now on my old standard iFill battery, and it tastes fine and I feel it in my throat. On the vivi nova, It just feels like pulling in pure vapor, not much flavor and a hint of not dryness, but something odd. It's just not the full flavor of my juice... I don't know if maybe I should cut the wicks?

Don't know about cutting the wicks... all I can say for sure is when I got my first pro tank I had an awful hint of a metallic taste until I gave it a good vodka bath then rinsed with warm water and let it dry before using it then the problem was solved. I also make sure to let my juice sit in the tank for a couple of minutes after a fill so the wicks have time to work and to avoid dry hits. I primarily use a Vision Victory VT tank as my main tank.

Okay, first - Ifill is a battery, Vivi is a Tank
Apples and Oranges

What are you using on the iFill?

What is the Coil resistance of that device?
What resistance is the Vivi coil?
Is it a genuine Vision Vivi or a copy
Does it have air holes on the sides of the 510 connection?

Flavor comes with Heat, but you have to be careful not to burn the liquid.

Ok so the iFill I got was my starter kit for the last month. It came as a pack but on the website I looked, it's called iFill by Maya. It comes in this starter kit and no where there does it say what kind of clearomizer it is. It looks like a standard clearomizer. And the coil head is a 2.4 ohm. That's all I really know. I'm pretty sure it's a genuine vivi nova, I got it from Vapor Valley.com. Not sure where to look for the holes, I'm new to this sorry lol. Where do I look for the air holes by the 510 connection?

Should have one in the center of the threaded connection and 2 on the side just above the threads.
I'd swap coils just to be sure that one isn't out of whack. I have seen some with the wires pushed to one side, others with odd spacing and often the wicks being pinched by the top silicone cup. Anything like this will effect performance. Anything like this is easy to correct.

I have 2 Vivi's. Don't use them much. Takes a tank or so to get flavor going decent on new wicks and constant tipping to keep them wet.

I took these just now for you so you can see. It is the genuine real thing, I just am not sure why I'm getting that almost burnt weird taste. I took out one wick to see if maybe that was the problem and haven't filled up the tank yet until I get more idea what to do. My other 2.4 ohm coil head from my iFill had 1 thick wick, hanging on each side. And that was good. This one for the vivi nova, it's 2.4 but it has 4 on each side, and they're thinner. I figured I'd take one out. Maybe that was the problem?? Here below I just took some pics for you so you can see what I have here...

what I'm saying is my 2.4 coil head that's on my iFill clearomizer looks like the 2.8 ohm for vivi nova... its just one solid wick hanging down on both sides and that's how I had it on my iFill.. but if I put that on my vivi nova, then that's not 2.4 ohm anymore, that's 2.8... so idk what to do if I should just put it to 2.8 or not...

I think I was just looking now for a tighter draw... I heard a lot of people do this with the vivi novas.. I covered one of the air holes with tape and now I am getting more resistance in my draw which is what I normally would with my other ecig.. the throat hit is still not enough though, but it is better... I think i should just try the Kanger T3.. lol. Do you know any clearomizers that are good for throat hits?? I feel this vivi nova just has too much of an airy draw for me...
