I am beyond frustrated at this point with these tanks; I have the v3 version, I bought 2 from one vendor and 2 from another vendor, all 4 have the same issues so I'm sure it's me doing something wrong. I've had them for a couple of weeks and they've been nothing but a problem. I've been reading through a lot of the threads about issues on here, but I'm totally lost. I have no idea about wick coils, taking screw drivers to parts, dry burns, or any other thing like that lol.

I want to be able to get a tank, put the juice in, tighten the cap, put it on my vv device, and vape every 5-10 seconds (I'm a serial vaper). When I use my vivi's I get a plastic and/or burning plastic taste every few vapes. I don't feel that I should have to take a hit, set my device down, and then come back to take another vape 3-5 minutes later just so I don't get that taste...and sometimes I get it on the first vape.

I've tried pulling up the plastic cap and then letting it naturally tighten down as I put the cap back on, I've tried not completely tightening the tank all the way down on my vv device...neither is working. Please help me. I'm happy to fiddle around with coils and things like that if I can get it to work right, just as long as it's explained to me in non-technical terms lol. Any help is appreciated, ty.

I do have basic tanks with cartos, they are dual coil 1.5 ohms. Is that the something I should use with a vv? I got the vivi's for vv use, but I am so disgusted with them. I know there are single coils along with dual coils and different ohms...which coil and ohm would be best with vv products? I'll gladly go back to that way if it will end this vivi torture lol.

I've never had good luck with Vivi Nova's. I bought 2 and kept getting burnt tastes. I did have 1 of the heads actually work quite nicely for about a week until it spewed out horrid tastes.

I even rebuilt one with a mesh wick. Worked great for about an hour, then back to the dry hits and plastic taste. I gave up and ordered an AC9.

I've never heard of the AC9. Does the tank come put together, or would I have to assemble the wick, coil, etc.? If it has assembly required other than just popping on a pre-made carto or atty, it probably isn't for me lol.

it could be the juice. VG is thicker and doesn't wick as fast. I have a vivi nova 3.5ml, and two mini vivi novas. I use a 50/50 mix PG VG with a 1.8 ohm head (long wicks) on the mini's. I have a vision spinner set @ around 3.6 to 3.8 volts. I have a 2.4 ohm (I think) with voltage @ around 4.1 to 4.2. They work great for me. Are the heads you use short wicks?

Hi Biggs...read through the above posts, it sure is frustrating...well there are some clones in the market, no guarantee yours are genuine coz they came from 2 diff. vendors. I am using mini Vivis for the past 3 months now with absolutely no issues, got them from Health Cabin here's the link for you to compare the one's you have with

Mini Vivi Nova Tank Clearomizer (2.5ml Tube & Long wick) [D-A8 Vivi Nova 2.5ml Kit] - $8.50 : Healthcabin Electronic Cigarettes - Wholesale and Retail

Wish yours are genuine too, in that case try using a different juice the PG/VG ratio is fine, some flavors taste weird with certain devices , so you may try a diff. flavor or from a diff vendor....

Hope this helps :)

I have 4 different juices going in the 4 different tanks lol. However, all 4 juices are either 70 pg/30 vg or 75 pg/25 vg. All the wicks are long wicks. It is frustrating, I had such high hopes for these tanks. I'm still holding on to hope, but after a couple of weeks of this, it's getting hard.

Yep, this sounds frustrating. They should be working. The only thing left is the wick material, but since you got these from two different places, it doesn't make sense that they could be "bad". They could be 'clones" like souvik said. If that is the case then it's more possible that the wick material is the problem being that they may have come from the same manufacturer. You could try changing the heads out, but there would be no guarantee that would fix it. The ones I use are vision vivi novas. Is the "draw" on them "tight"(maybe they aren't "breathing") What flavors are you using?

The first two vivi's I bought are from Health Cabin and the other 2 are from Vaporheads...having the same issues with all 4 of them. I have yet to check any youtube videos, I will do that when I get home from work. Hopefully, I can find a solution to the issue on youtube, but if I have to pull of coils and rewick stuff, it may be a lost cause for me lol.
