Vivi Nova syphoning issue.

A few weeks ago I bought 2 Vivi Novas linked here:

Lifesmoke Vapor is the only local vendor I've found in the Harrisburg PA area. I've had one irritating problem with the Vivi so far and that is I ALWAYS siphons juice up through and it sits on the top of the top cap until enough accumulates that I start drawing it into my mouth. I draw very gently on the Vivi. I get the same problem no matter what head I use.

I watched pbusardo's video on cleaning the Vivi to make sure I was doing everything right, but the condom he uses that sits on the head is different than the one on my Vivis. Both Vivis have this siphoning issue. It looks like the juice is drawing up through the condom and around the metal nipple that is inside the head cover. It happens with new heads, cleaned heads, etc.

The second one I bought won't even fire if the top cap is screwed down snug. I did some looking around to see if the one I have is an actual vision (as it is advertised by Lifesmoke). The box has the red lines inside the V on the box, but it does not have Vision on the side of the box. Could it be that I bought a knock off advertised as a real Vivi?

At this point I'm starting to look for a new tank style clearo, like maybe a protank. Any thoughts or suggestions on things I haven't tried to correct the siphoning issue? I've tried just about a dozen things to correct the issue and none have worked.

i currently own four novas. i was new to the game when i got the first one, and it was an issue...i started putting less liquid in, as a way to regulate how much i vape during the day, and the leaking has stopped. dont know if that was a byproduct of it or not, but its worth a try. novas are my fave amongst the top feeders i have tried so far. check it out and let me know

Unfortunately it still siphons even if it has less than 1/2 ml left.

When you say 'metal nipple', what exactly do you mean? Only the knockoff Vivi Novas have a protruding metal piece near the drip tip. The genuine Novas have a very small metal 'dish' that sits inside of the rubber cap, and doesn't stick out of it in either direction.

I own 4 Vision Vivi Novas and never have had a condensation/leaking problem.

IF your Top is sealing properly to the wick cap, then the wicks are allowing to much juice flow. Wicks need to fill the metal slots to prevent this.
Also - Poor(overly Tight Draw) or drawing to hard will suck juice out.

There will always be a little juice that gets into the well around the bottom of the drip tip if you set them on their side.
This is normal as the coil area and holes will allow for it to over fill and move to that area. This is not a big deal.
I have never had one leak on me yet that caused any huge issue.

So basically, what they are advertising as Vision Vivi's are in fact NOT visions. Interesting. And yes, mine looks like the 2nd and not the first.

Could be you have a loose drip tip not making a good seal. If the tip just comes out easily get new o-rings.

You can buy the seals with the flat top like the first pic at vapoligy. 3 seals for $.99 I bought a bunch to keep on hand.Also, If the draw is to tight you will eventually start collecting juice in the bottom where the drip tip is and start to get juice in your mouth.I took a 1/16th drill bit and drilled out one hole above the threads. This has almost eliminated the problem. I still get an occasion taste of juice after heavy vaping for a while but not like before I drilled out one hole. Give it a try.
