Hi. Since I can only post here in the Newbies section, I created my own thread.

Here are my concerns:

1. I bought the ViVi Nova Mini and all is working well until I tried to clean it. I saw some suggestions to use running water, vodka, hot water, vinegar and diet coke. I first tried running water but I noticed that the clear tube gets frosted. When I put the juice on and vape awhile, some part of it becomes clear again. On my 2nd attempt of cleaning, I soaked all of the parts including the tube on hot water. This is the worst part. The whole tube became frosted. I vaped again and it becomes partially clearer but still frosted. I tried soaking the tube on vinegar, vodka (40%) but the tube becomes frosted. 1 guy suggested to use sandpaper since the frost part is due to the chemicals and it stuck on the tube. I checked by scraping a bit using a screw driver and the frost is being removed. Scraping the whole tube might cause damage since I might scrape the plastic tube. So far, I tried using 600's, 2500's and 2000's of the sandpaper but I can't see the results. Maybe someone might share or have experienced the same issue on clear tubes?

2. Due to the problem above, I am thinking of buying 1 clear tube and 2 metal tubes (silver and black) of Vivi Nova Mini since I found out that it can be bought separately. Unfortunately, from the country where I am in (Philippines), I cannot find anyone who sells retails parts of this unit. I tried GV but it seems they do not deliver here in the Philippines. Metallic tubes are not even available here. Please advise on this one since I really want to buy those tubes :(

Hi. I'm from the Philippines too. You can try myvape.in for the metal tubes for a vivi nova. I didn't see any metal tubes for the mini. They also have regular sized novas. Look under "tanks". They're based in QC, they ship, and they have resellers all over metro manila. I've also seen metal tanks being sold by different people through sulit. I've been bookmarking certain local sellers so let me know if you need help finding anything. :)

Your on the right track with your initial idea with the sandpaper. You can get it crystal clear again by using glass sandpaper. They come in small sheets from 1000-10,000 grade. You can find an assortment pack in hobby shops. They're used on model cars. That's how they get those fantastic paint jobs. Still, a lot of work to fix something that isn't broke. You don't really need to see the marks, just use an syringe and fill it with 2 mls.

Used 600, 2000, 2500 grade and it seems there is no progress when I wash it w/ running water again :(

I think perhaps part of the problem is your tap water. It might be really hard (contains minerals that react with your juice) or REALLY soft (not cleaning the juice residue completely.

Perhaps you might try washing your Vivi Nova tubes with distilled water. You can get it in gallon jugs at any pharmacy or grocery store.
