I agree with you on those vivi's. I have fluffed, trimmed, swirled, tried different heads and they are still muted and produce crappy vapor. You aren't going to match the carto tanks with these things, not even close.

Some people like them, but they do not fit my vaping style. I like clouds of vapor and loads of flavor so they are not for me.

Like I posted in another thread. I must be lucky because I've NEVER ... and I mean never have had a dry hit with my novas.

I clean them and dry burn every other other refill and I swear .. the older this 2.4 heads gets ... the better it vapes.

Its REALLY important that you dry burn them atleast a few times a week or else you'll get gunk buildup on the coils and they'll stop producing vapor and flavor.

Yup I do like tc1, wash every two refills and dry burn.

I know my RWhy4 juice with extra cream really gunks the coils fast. I even get gunk buildup on the metal washer in the silicon cap. I can't imagine what it would be like vaping a VG juice without cleaning the coils. Yikes!

It's funny they work fine for me. Been using them now till I can afford another good carto order. Going to try those ikenvapes platinum and Stormy's.

Look up pbusardo's video on cleaning and rebuilding. Visual proof u can get a good amount of vapor with them.
I just orderd some stormys hit me up in a week or so and Ill let you know if they are any good.

Ditto this. Love my Vivi Nova. I get more flavor and vapor with it than anything else I have. I use the 2.4 head on a twist and take everything apart and clean/dry burn when I switch flavors.

I just watched it. I like his reviews, I have seen many that he has done. When I cleaned mine previously I did everything he did in the video. So nothing new for me to try and improve the vape for me. I did find out that the different wicks that I was talking about is normal though. I don't know what else it could be, maybe just some heads that aren't up to par?

I'm not a big nova fan either. I have two of them and find I end up fiddling with them as much as a CE4. I have been in vape heaven since I started using carto tanks.

What type of cartos do you use in your tanks? Right now I'm using some smoktech 2.0 ohm dual hole single coil. They seem to be ok, but always looking for something better.

In my IBTanks I'm using the Smoktek/Smoketech single coil XL, 2.0Ω (1 or 2 holes, I haven't noticed a difference, but I only use 30% or 40% vg) . In the polypro tank from Valley View Vapes, I have Boge 35mm 2.0Ω, two holes punched by Ray (the owner). It seems to me that the Smoktek hits a little harder, but that could be the juice I have in it.

Another member gave rave reviews about the iKenVape Platinum series, but the website confuses me with the voltage recommendations. I usually vape 1.5Ω to 2Ω at around 3.8v to 4v, but the site recommends 4.2-5v for both LR and STD. I'm thinking it must be a misprint.
