I have 2 vivi nova slim tanks, and I get better vapor AND taste from my dollar fifty disposable carts, what am i missing? one is really lame, the other is a little better but these things don't produce what i would call decent vapor at all. I have a CE4 that produces tons more vapor. And I'm using these things on a 1300 spinner, no matter what you crank the voltage to, just lame vapor. the real bummer is I dropped way more on these than the vision ce4's and just can't understand what the deal is. changed heads, tried both tanks, nothing. what are the odds I got 2 junk novas at once? anyone have any ideas?

Could be fakes.
I hate Vivi's

any "easy" way to tell. Not to thrilled with them, that's for sure. These things are lame as hell. The CE4's I have are Vision, and they're pretty easy to verify. Kinda bummed I dropped what I did on these, definitely not willing to do it again.

The fakes generally bite big time. I have very little issue with my Nova's; good vapor, flavor, and TH...but they DO NOT like thick juice. Also, you have to tip them often to keep the tops of the wicks wet. Some ppl have replace the wick with SS mesh and improved wicking a lot (have yet to try it myself).

nope, not fakes, vision stuff. I'm using a 50-50 base. surely that's not too thick? nothing else I have has that bad of a vapor production. One was not usable right out of the box, and I tried different heads, 2.4 and 2.8. and of the one that does "work", it's way better than the first, but l;ike I said, I get better vapor and flavor from a cheap $1.50 carto. Glad I have 4 more vision ce4's coming tomorrow...

I ordered some novas and then read all these bad reviews on them... was ...... I wasted my money. But when I got the thing I was super impressed. Its become one of my favorite tanks. I normally use the vision style cleros and the mop head clearos. The vivi mini nova I got ever leaks and always gives a good throat hit. Once the liquid gets down to 25 percent left it has a harder time getting the juice to the coil, but I have the same issue with my vision clearos.

It does sound like there are some fakes out there, because some people love them and have no issues and others have nothing but issues.

I picked mine up from gotvapes.com; they sell the real deal nova stuff on that site. A lot of it might come down to juice as well. Since I ordered better juice (heathers heavenly vapers), all of my clearos and tanks seem to work better. I'll never go back to any juice with more than 30 percent VG in it.... VG is so thick its hard to wick good and you can't vape hard with it. 70/30 PG/VG mix works grate. I've even got some 80/20 that works even better. I'll use pure VG for dripping, but not for tanks.

One thing I will say negative about the nova is it had a bit of a funny taste for the first tank full, but after that its fine. I've encountered that was thing with the vision & generic clearos as well. Some so bad I had to soak the things before using them for the first time.

PS: I've only been using the nova for about 3 weeks, so maybe everyones issues start happening when they get old. Time will tell for me, so far so good.

The line between clearos and tanks is getting thinner by the day. I'm going with what I see, and all the sites selling them including the site i purchased them from (gotvapes) has then placed in the tank section.
Go to the "Tank" section of this very website where sitting on and the first page will be filled with vivi nova talk.

That might well be true and the Vivi Nova has a lot of great qualities but it still isnt a tank because it suffers from the same drawbacks that all clearomizers do.

Calling it a tank is misleading and is causing people not to try things like carto tanks that might be a better option for them.

I have had great success with my Novas. They have great TH, vapor and are easy to clean. And...they don't leak!!

It's probably just me. Don't like them. I just wondered. I have much better success with my "refillable and rebuild-able CE4 clearomizers", which also coincidentally hold liquid in the slim "tank" compartment. I thought the Vivi would be the same with a bigger liquid storage compartment, but sadly even though they cost much more, I would rather just buy more CE4's. thats just MHO. thanks.

lol okay I get the picture. When I made that post I hadnt slept in almost 20 hours :) so Im sorry if I came across as a bit harsh. In all honesty Novas are a hybrid tank system, part clearomizer and part carto tank.

Have you tried carto tanks yet?

i meant it in good humor, i was amused. not harsh but definite about your vocabulary. lol. no problem. not yet tried the carto tanks, I have dropped so much cash lately, I can wait. I have 4 of the CE4's and two novas, so I'm good. next the Joye Evic and some more stuff then. might be a while though. I showed my wife the price-tags on what I want, and she literally had an evil maniacal laugh, so, I know better. Christmas or not. ha. but thanks, I did eyeball some, wondered about them, and the dual coils stuff also.

.

Many of us have discovered that we would be wise to clean this stuff before using it for the first time. Never know what China left in there. That also may be part of some people's bad experience at the start of using it. And, the stuff in there, no doubt varies in amount from device to device. I first found this out putting a replacement head in the Kanger T2. After i cleaned the 6 heads that i had at the time, everything was good afterwards.
