 There you go again! Can you wait till at least until Monday before showing that pic again?

To the OP, Nova's are great. Easy to use and long lasting when you take care of them. The collar just makes the whole thing feel more stable and look more streamlined.

please don't get a nova without at least a variable voltage battery, you'd be wasting your money otherwise, the only head you'd ever get a decent vape off of with the fixed voltage eGo devices would be the 1.8 ohm head....the 2.4 head and 2.8 head would make you blue in the face trying to draw a decent vape with that battery.

furthermore....if you get a vivi nova, the primary reason they exist is to be REBUILT. if you intend on buying new heads every time, you may as well stick to cartomizer tanks...and if you rebuild, there could be a wide range of resistances the device can end up with, in this case, you almost need VV to get a feel for where the right vape is.

I agree completely with the need for VV with a Nova. I had my Lavatube break a week ago and had to go back to my old non-adjustable batteries. I didn't even consider putting one of my Novas on them. I just went back to some extra Vision Clearomisers(sp?) and waited for a replacement lavatube.

I just tried my Mini Viv Noval with the 2.4ohm head on my KGO (non-VV) and it vapes up a storm. I agree that the 2.8ohm head probably wouldn't work well on a non-VV unit.

And, for $2.40 cents apiece, I just buy my heads. They seem to last a long time, and I don't have the time or inclination to futz around with re-building them. I have less time than money, so someone else's mileage may vary.

Me too. Vivis are designed to just replace the heads, and the heads are cheap. A vivi head lasts me much longer than a cartomizer, so they work out cheaper to use in my experience. Vivis don't have to be rebuildables - unless you like tinkering.

in essence, yes, but rebuilding costs me about 5 cents vs. the new head price....as far as cartomizers not lasting, i have several that have lasted for months, you just have to know how to clean those, much like the novas. by that logic, cartomizers blow the cost curve away if you're just replacing heads.

Yeah, I do clean my cartomizers. But I have to refill a carto more often than a Vivi - I use 3.5ml. I use cartos at work, vivis at home mostly. For me cartos aren't cheaper. I've had good mileage from the bottom coils, which are my preference, but the Vivis are working out cheaper for me right now. You like rebuilding, but I'm not into RBAs. The Vivi is still an inexpensive option just replacing the the heads. They are pretty cheap and I get good mileage. I think a lot of people just replace the heads.
I like using cartos as atomizers too - some of those last me a long time.

i will agree that we vape different for sure....as i dislike bottom coils, verticle coils for me all the way...and if i'm going to drip an atty i'm going to use my .357....honestly though i hardly touch my nova, i hate how inconsistant it performs, i much MUCH prefer my penelope, as it is as close to perfect as rebuildables get...but that's a whole other thread

Hate to disagree, but I have the Riva 1100 with a mini nova using the 2.4 head, and to be honest....it's a little strong for me. It vapes so much nicer than the Vision clearo I had before.

The ohms and volts are going to differ between different people, taste and needs. If you get the real vivi nova products they come with 3 different heads, that can be changed out really easy. I have 10 vivi nova's both mini and regular size. I've never had any problems with any of them.

Yeah, I find it funny how some people say you MUST have a VV to make a Nova work properly. Now, please don't take offense, but I have found that to be utter bull. I got my Nova begining of this week, and absolutely love the flavor and vap I get with the stock 2.4 head. I produce huge clouds of vapor with it on my Ego-T battery. I have not tried the 1.8 but from the sounds of it it will be a lot warmer/hotter vapor and might even cause me to choke a bit. LOL
