Hi everyone! Got an issue with my lavatube+vivi nova set. I've just made a rebuild using nichrome wire and a new wick. And my VV now stops vaping after a second i push the button. I push - it vipes for a second and stops. I push again - it vipes for 0.9 seconds and stops. I push again - it vipes for 0.8 etc. What could make this bad stuff happen?

Check the resistance of the coil and make sure you don't have a short.

You should use kanthal instead of nichrome.
Kanthal is much better. The resistance is higher from what I can tell. Instead of Iron it uses aluminum. I use 32 gauge.
You may find this useful. This XL spread sheet will calculate the length of wire for a specified Ohms reading you want.

Thanks for the answers, guys!) I don't have an ohmmeter will try to get one soon. Also i've made another attempt and VV refused to vape at all :( Lava works fine with my old carto, so I don't think i have a short. I checked the wires not to to touch each other and positive wire not to touch the wall of the
vaping head wall.
If i have low resistance, how can i fix it? They sell only nichrome wires here, where i live.
And one more question. When i'm making a coil how much space approximately do i have to leave between every loop of it? They must not touch each other, right?
