Well I did not make the purchase ......... they were the real vivo nova tanks but that's all you got was the tank. There was nor replacement coils/wicks included. Just one tank and that's it. One a good note I did pick up two bottles of halo juice , southern classic and tiki juice. :)

Forgot got to mention, there's a full size and mini. I had the mini. I really like it.

Oh well - as I am sure you can gather from this thread, there are numerous options open for you to find the delivery system you need. the Vivi Nova is one of many.

One of the most important things being a vaper is being open to fiddle. Even the best device out there will require some fiddle-time to get the perfect vape. Just be open to reading and learning about your device and you will not go far wrong.

Good choice on the halo, maybe when you've let it steep a little and tried it you can post a review in the e-liquid section of the forum.

I have a Vivi Nova that worked for about a week, then quit. Sometimes if I pulled the post and jiggled it just right it would work for a couple vapes, but now it doesn't work at all. Any advice or similar experience?

Was it a vision product or a clone? Some of the Vivi Nova clones have issues, some are pretty good. You might try replacing the head,

Sorry, don't know how to quote a response!

Not sure if it was a Vision. It came in a black box with white writing and 2 extra heads. I was hoping I didn't have to replace the head after only a week (and also since it worked intermittently), but I'll try it. Thanks!

Unscrew the head from the post, then get some scissors or a screwdriver and push the center post down inside the tube. That will help with the connection. I had an issue like that, and pushing it down helped. Just remember not to screw any device down too hard on the battery.

If that wasn't the issue, please post up what was happening...

OK, I tried your suggestion InTheShade, and it still doesn't work. I think I do need to replace the coil. Thanks for your help!

OK, we can do this bam2873... so you pushed down the post inside the tube of the vivi nova (not the post inside the head) right?

So can you describe the exact issue you are having - you mention having to jiggle the post - where were you jiggling it from? the bottom, where the head screws in etc. Can you describe what is happening please? Is it firing or not firing at all? What device are you using it on, what steps have you already taken to fix it?

EDIT - just click the "reply with quote" button

Wow, now I feel really stupid! Quote option was just on the other side of the screen - duh!

OK, so here's what I've done. As you suggested I pushed the post inside the actual plastic (?) tube - no go. Previously, I had pulled the tube from the bottom of the head, with some brief success. What I was jiggling was - with the Vivi Nova lightly screwed into the battery (Ego), I would move it around to try to get a "connection". Since it was loosely connected I was able to do this in some positions, but not consistently. Now, it is not firing at all, but I know the battery is fine because it works with my clearos. Is that enough to go on?

OK, let me get to my Vivis and post up some pictures so we can try to get this sorted for you. Like I said, I did have some connection issues, but I managed to solve them by pushing, pulling, prying and fiddling. If someone else meanwhile can help, then great.

It'll be later this evening as I am just about to leave for work, but I'll subscribe to the thread and I won't forget.

I gave the vivi a try, but did not like it. It leaked when using thin juice. Okey not really an issue considering all tanks will leak if the juice is to thin. My Major issue was I had too many dry hits. You take a nice deep pull, then as you inhale, i realize you just smoked some wick rather than vape some juice. I gave it an honest try and went through 3 coils. I switched to protank, and only had 1 dry hit thus far, and that was because I was watching a movie, and did not realize I vaped out close to 2ml during the movie. The juice was finished!
I ordered the vivi, but on the tank it said "a clear"
Might be a clone, but even if it was a clone, I will not touch it again. Not even if you give me the real one!
Protank ...!
Also trying my hand at RBA's now.

so the local supplier i buy my juice and supplies from have a sale right now on the vivi nova tanks. i am considering buying one but ive heard they have a few issues. i have heard they leak and the coils seem to burn out very quick. right now i use the T2 tanks with a 510 battery and it usually last about 3 1/2 weeks before i have to change out the wicks. i like the ideal of the vivi nova cause it holds more juice.

so my question is are they worth purchasing ? i think they are usually $13-14 but they have them on sale for $8.99.

For that price, why not give it a try and find out for yourself? I do like they way the Vivi Nova tanks vape, I personally am not a fan of the bulky look. I like a nice streamlined look, which is why I stick with the Evods.

Ok, I finally got to this Bam, sorry for the delay.

vivi1.jpg
This is the bottom of the vivi nova where it screws in to the battery. So if you notice, the bottom is kind of recessed in and will not fire on my battery

vivi2.jpg
This is the center post of the vivi nova, the coil head screws into the top section where the arrow is.

So I stripped it all down and removed the coil head.

Then the post I have marked with an arrow, I pushed that down with a screwdriver. You don't have to push it too far, but look at the bottom of the vivi nova - where it connects to the battery - and you will see the center section move down. Just do it enough so it is slightly proud of the bottom of the tube

vivi3.jpg
It's a little hard to see, but you see how the center post will now make contact with my battery. So I screwed it all back together and it fires fine.

This should take care of the issue for you. Just remember not to screw it in too tight to your battery. Then remember to check whenever you clean your clearo or change the coil head that it's pushed down far enough.

Finally, if it's still not firing - then we've still got work to do, so let us know and we'll try something else :vapor:

Personally i think the Vivi Nova has had its day, the iClear30 has took over, also there are so many better options - Protanks, eVods & a good glass carto tank is even better.

imo

I wouldn't say so. I'd say Vivi is much a staple to people like carto tanks are to some. I would go so far to say that Vision's recent release of glass Vivi tanks is an absolute game changer.
