Try cutting back on the voltage a couple of points. also, only fill it about 3/4 full instead of until there is very little room left.
The ViVi Nova is a top atomizer, so you need to tip it a bit every once in a while, but don't need to tip it for every vape.
Could be any of those things - Voltage - amount in the tank - over tipping the device.

I vary the voltage depending on the vape. When its full, I turn it up, but I rarely go past 3.8-4.3 As it lowers, turn it down , as it "burns". Maybe i need to get a higher level juice. I'm at 16 now. I love this device and vape all day long when I'm working from home. As for the heads, i just use what came with the vivi nova kit. I've got a 1.8 now. I've only changed it out once because the coils were bad. But I think the first head (now thrown out) was a higher level (2. something).

Im sorry - what do you mean by tipping? Am I getting shocked? I forgot to mention that smoke is filling in the chamber - that s a new one. What am I doing wrong? Opps - I took your advice and cleaned the tip. this plastic piece popped out. I just put it back in the tip. Hope its right. Eeek

i comes apart ...you can use different drip tips on it

tipping it: when it starts to get below half a tank, every 2-3 vapes tip it up fully horizontal and spin it a little to wet the wicks good

btw you can take the vivi nova completely apart and wash it in the sink...just dry it off good and fire the head till it starts to glow orange (this gets rid of some of the gunk that forms from different flavors)

EDIT: see video above

Thanks. I actually tried that dry burn with the first head. it helped a little, but I still had to throw it out a week later. Still, the first head lasted a month or two. Thats why Im so freaked out by this second head malfunction. I just unscrewed hte tank from the Spinner and smell juice on my finger. I think its leaking. Ive only cleaned it once, but I was so so careful! Im chain vaping currently since Im working form home. Love love love this device!

Ooh , ok. Im building up the courage to learn how to rebuild. I dont trust my tech skills there, lol.

I just rebuilt one of my heads today for the first time. I used ss mesh and 34ga nichrome wire for the coil. It was fairly easy and it's working great. There are a few YouTube videos on rebuilding the novas. Watch a couple of those and you'll be ready to try one!

Pops like bubbles? It's just a juice build up on the base. Take off the drip tip and dry that area up with a q tip. I usually straighten up the corner of my handkerchief and twist it a few times. Works real well when you're not at home with a q tip.

I carry small paper towels, Qtips and pipe cleaners with me :) since I vape a pipe, people don't seem to know I'm vaping until I start wicking up collected vapor from under the drip tip

Wow, what a great idea! Im glad these things are made of plastic, I tend to drop it a lot, lol. Tipping makes for a better vape. Thanks!

Be careful about droping the Vivi. If it gets dropped to many times, you will bend the center post inside the Vivi. Then, your mouthpiece won't line up with the post and you will get lots of liquid in your mouth, more so if you tip it upside down. I dropped my Vivi so many times, the piece between the bottom thread of the tank and the thread that goes into the battery separated and now I can't fit it back together.
