I love this forum, not because of the VK..which I have only the passthru's to judge by..a fabulous product by the way, but because of Steve in particular and the people in here. Great group of folks! I love the Cartomizers because of the flavor and how long they last while I am driving! But I also like my 901 and whistle tips. I like my VP1 and my nicostick. All of them work with a 901 atty. I repeat all of them even Steve's VK passthru. The great thing is that all of them except the nicostick can all use a cartomizer! (I am working on how to get one to fit) This is where VK gets bonus points in my book, it's versatile..it's easy and it's a good damn product!
When I go to the new members section and they ask..where do I get this or that..I always give 2 or 3 suppliers..never one! But you can bet Steve's in right in there unless they are asking for something he doesn't sell.
I use 5 different suppliers for different reasons. All of them have proven to me to be good people with reliable products. But Steve is fast becoming my go to man for many things besides juice.
So dub me a Fangirl, like names can hurt me at my age! I do what I want any time I want and little kids who think trolling is anything but amusing to me on a slow saturday..are just deluded.

I am a few years behind you...but I hear ya...got a kick out of that part of your post...lol. I am definitely a V4L fanboy......and don't mind if anyone wants to call me one. Being called names doesn't bother me either.

I did a ton of research before I ordered a PV and am glad I did! I ordered from Steve on account of all the posts referencing his excellent customer service. And there were many fewer posts then in this section than there are now. As the VK becomes more popular and people become aware of the outstanding customer service Steve and Mark provide, we will have more trolls...lol.

I'm being singled out because, as we all know...it's just hard for some people to understand that I really do look this good.

Maybe it's because your a Canuck and they figure you're easy pickings...like the Canadian Army.

oh wait..I forgot ..there is no such thing as Canadian Army.;)

I researched anything and everything for weeks. Me, myself, and I came to the conclusion that I wanted to buy the VK. The main reason I decided on V4L was because of the customer service, and because V4L is in IL. If this was all a scam I was taking a drive to put this e-cig up somebody’s ..... Thankfully, I can save some money on gas...

All I can attest to is V4L has saved me from killing myself with cigarettes. I will never ever smoke again. I never thought it would be possible for me to stop smoking. I have been smoke free now for 16 days, 1 hour 2 minutes and 34 seconds. I am doing a happy dance every morning that I have stopped smoking after 46 yrs. could I have done it with another product? Don’t know don’t care. V4L was the product I choose, it did its job, and V4L has a customer for the rest of my life.

Can’t the trolls be happy for everyone who has stopped smoking regardless of what tool they decided to use. Stop acting like spoiled brats with attitudes of I am going to stomp my feet, bang my head and hold my breath till you all stop using whatever device. PLEASE… Get over it. Period.

Like Phoenixrising, I wish I had heard of VaporKing and V4L BEFORE investing hundreds and hundreds of dollars on something that was more hassle then it was worth. And I don't see what the harm is in posting about how happy we are with the product and customer service in a thread asking for advice on what to get. Clearly we are all adults here and can pick and choose what information we wish to follow. I am grateful for every positive thing I heard about V4L because it brought me here. And quite a few here feel the same way.

I think Phoenix nailed it and several of you added very good points as well and I 100% agree.

The one thing that I, and I assume others, have been guilty of is just referring to our favorite device as "Vapor King". We should explain that it is a KR808D-1, or at least a variation of it.

After all, we don't need to be adding to the massive confusion of a new user. I was one and I remember how hard it was to keep it all straight. I tried the E9 and hated it. After that, anything that said "cartomizer" was an immediate turn-off.

Bob

I call mine a Vapor King cause outside of a few empty cartomizers i had to get at another site, all of my parts *are* Vapor King. In my opinion of the flavors I like, V4L sells the majority of them..with a few exceptions like Vanilla which tastes odd to me from V4L. Since all of my stuff with the aforementioned exception says V4L on it, and since they're marketed as "Vapor King" I call mine that, and link the site where appropriate lol.

If it were a "Mist something" or an "Easy something" I'd call it that. It's a Vapor King though, so I call it one LOL!

Still wish Steve would get those Bulk empty cartomizers in so I could quit cheating on him with the neighbor :/

Oh, for Pete's sake! Never heard of Nhaler e-liquid?? I'd be surprised, because we Nhaler clients are just as rabid! :D If you like something and believe in something, you want to share!

I have never even tried a VK and I still recommend them to newbs looking for that kind of device, because of Steve's reputation. I've been on this forum long enough to see how the "fan club" has developed over time and can assure you (guy who thinks it's an advertising scheme) that it's not anything more than happy customers willing to share!!

Just as another note - I've also been reading around other forums (one in particular in Canada) and know that this poster seems to take pleasure in stirring things up and playing devil's advocate - based solely on his postings in those other forums. Don't sweat it!

That wasn't the point. The point was to that guy complaining about VK owners talking it up around the forums. Nhaler customers do the same thing about Drew, so it's not just VK users that do that!

And Drew has some of the cheapest prices and best quality e-liquid out there?? $0.48 per ml (3 - 30ml bottles for $44) is an awesome price!!

I tend to "root root root" for the home team, anyone's customers engage in that activity....i think some of the haters are just drama queens and like to stir up angst. The OP was pointing out how people are "slamming" the VK specifically in the general threads lol...People rooting for their favorite typically are owners and users..and in a good position to cast their "rooting" vote as they know their product.

I'll have to backscroll and find the fellow you mention who was uptight about people rooting for VK on the forums, but i got a hunch already who it might be.

I think it is just a personal issue on how any given person feels about whether or not they should tout their particular vendor in the open forums or not.

Since this thread is about this in particular I'll give the examples I struggle NOT to give most of the time...

Usually when talking with people or answering questions I refer to model numbers, and what 'I have' or 'I have bought' were 4081s or kr808ds or what have you, and that there are several good vendors out there to try and many of them on this forum.

What I don't do is go saying: 'OH! Drew is the man... I buy all my stuff from him because you get great customer service, freebies, and the best prices around!" etc, etc.

Fact is... I *do* like my nHaler KR808D PCC and batt I just got. Woodgrain battery is really schweet :) . Drew *does* have excellent customer service, juices, what have you. In person on the street so to speak, yes I hand out cards and recommend Drew's website and stoofs. In these forums where there are tons of vendors, I always just tried to be neutral so that people could make their own decisions.

So to kinda meet in the middle, I just keep it middle ground and put a nHaler banner in my sig line.

Basically it all boils down to the fact that it is a wash in the end. People like Drew, Steve, and many other vendors here that do perform great will last. Those that don't - won't. So just choose to use what you like and don't bash others for their choices. What is the point? I also think people need to relax on the whole who's is what bit. It all comes from China and gets relabelled so what? It is all about quality control before it gets shipped to *us* and that is why nHaler and V4L and so on are a cut above - they do their own quality control before it gets to us right?

Anyway, it's late, I'm hungry, and I'm rambling my apologies. lol

Take care all,
- Hap

I'll give you some constructive criticism.

V4L is the only company on the forums that has people running around with huge banners advertising the company that troll any topic that say "newbie want to know what to buy"

Unlike with other e-cigs where the posters recommend the type, such as in your case a DS808 whatever, then suggest a retailer, you guys try to confuse the newbie into buying a VK, as if its some different product.

It is clear what your intent is. If you actually though the cart-o-mizer was the greatest thing, you'd be promoting cart-o-mizer style e-cigs, not a rebadged product exclusively. Not to say its bad to recommend V4L, but to promote it to a newbie that doesn't know any better is exactly what smoking everywhere and other companies like that are doing.

This forum is a free exchange of users, and not a medium for advertising.

If I am wrong, I'm sure you will see my point, and this company and its member will act differently in their recommendations

The reality is that newbies especially should be directed toward something idiot proof..and the KR808d-1 is just that, virtually idiot proof.

I'd hate for other newbies to do what I did and go straight out and buy a 901 then throw it down in disgust cause of all the crap you have to do to it on a regular basis to make it function. Far better for the newbie experience to go smoothly and well, rather than poorly and end in disaster.

Further, with Steve's no hassle warranty, and pretty damn great flavors (yes I've tried the competition's KR808d-1 offerings) I still recommend it to newbies...again, better to have vaping than smoking and some of the competition's blister packed craptastic flavors are better left in China.

Over all, I really wish someone had sent me to V4L first, because i spent hundreds on junk before I discovered the Vapor King, and I'd love to have those hundreds back to spend at V4L.

I consider that a rational and well thought out reason to recommend V4L and SPECIFICALLY the Vapor King to newbies. You find another No fault warrantee out there and we'll talk....And what we'll talk about next would be flavors versus other companies offerings..then we'll talk about the new Extra Long uberbattery...then we'll talk about Steve's penchant for takin care of his customers and throwing in freebies which everyone loves..and the list actually goes on.

You steer newbies as wrong as you like fella, me, I try to help them the best way I know how. In my opinion, suggesting they start off on a device that requires more tinkering than a VW when they're tryin to quit and already on their last frazzled nerve is heartless. But then that's just my opinion.

Under .50/ml? That I'll have to browse. Thats my limit in fact, 50cents/ml..my last visit the price wasn't near that. I currently pay $9/30ml plus shipping comes to about $10/ml after shipping cause i buy several at a go.

This is exactly the problem. In a previous thread, started by a non VK user, that person had a link to another sub-forum to show what a cartomizer looked like. That was, at the time, a fairly new post. The photos were fantastic. In fact, they were so good (I didn't respond at the time due to the nature of where that thread was going), I could clearly see that the cartomizer in those photos was NOT the same construction as ones I recently received from V4L.

All the people claiming that there are no difference between KR808*** products need to do their own testing and filed striping. I have, as have others in this sub-forum. The idea that the V4L products are simply rebadged (some other product with the V4L logo), is a farce at best.

Now, does V4L have some sort of exckusive, I'm certain the answer is no. But when Steve gets the factory to make changes does it make the product better and different, I say yes, at least for the time being.

Not all KR808D-1 PVs are the same.

In as few words as possible:
Yeah, what you said!
I challenge anyone to tell me I've not done *my* research LOL.
