I'll give you some constructive criticism.

V4L is the only company on the forums that has people running around with huge banners advertising the company that troll any topic that say "newbie want to know what to buy"

Unlike with other e-cigs where the posters recommend the type, such as in your case a DS808 whatever, then suggest a retailer, you guys try to confuse the newbie into buying a VK, as if its some different product.

It is clear what your intent is. If you actually though the cart-o-mizer was the greatest thing, you'd be promoting cart-o-mizer style e-cigs, not a rebadged product exclusively. Not to say its bad to recommend V4L, but to promote it to a newbie that doesn't know any better is exactly what smoking everywhere and other companies like that are doing.

This forum is a free exchange of users, and not a medium for advertising.

If I am wrong, I'm sure you will see my point, and this company and its member will act differently in their recommendations

I personally am not trying to confuse anyone, especially a newbie, but when recommending V4L, I'm not just recommending a KR80blah. I'm recommending V4L not only as an e-cig but the customer service that goes with it. Part of our seemed cult like worship of V4L is because of the fact that Steve stands behind his product and goes way above and beyond to satisfy his customer.

You're correct that this forum is to gather information for potential consumer. I read many sponsored subsections before purchasing the VK and saw many manufacturers who aren't even close to adequate in the customer service department, and avoided them.

Isn't the customer service just as important as the model decision?

So again, why shouldn't we recommend V4L?

Customer service is what makes the company great. People want to recommend Steve because there is no way you can be disappointed, he will rectify any situation. Also, the products don't look like cigarettes, which is what i want, less hassle from random people, so re-badging or whatever is important to me too. Steve also has way more selection than I have seen anywhere else.

So, the kr808d-1 isn't what I love, I love my Vapor King!

I have remained relatively quiet in these types of threads but I have had it up to my eyeballs with folks insulting me for my particular choice of PV.

Props, we are all allowed our perspectives, but the gross generalizations and implications that we are anything but truly satisfied customers are ridiculous. A couple of points for you to ponder before you attack VK lovers with your next round of insults:

1. 510s are promoted significantly more often that Vapor Kings and contrary to your indications, almost everyone promoting 510s posts where they got theirs as well. If you are going to recommend a device to a newbie, then it only makes sense that you tell them where where to actually get one!

Add to that, that we can't just say, "I love my Vapor King," because there is a vendor here with that name that only recently started selling this model. This is very confusing and makes it even more important to say that we got our devices from Vapor4Life.

We are not trying to confuse Newbies with the VK, we are trying to clarify which model we use and where they can get one. It is ridiculous to suggest that this clarification is some insidious plot to spam the newbie forum. If someone asks for juice recommendations - do you just answer, "I love juice, especially peach!" Of course not, you say I love Nhaler's Juice (which I do and I also make that clear in case you are wondering - shock upon shocks that this devious little VK pusher would promote the competition - perhaps Steve should stop selling to me).

2. We are not trolling the newbie forum, we are adding our opinions to the countless others that newbies are given. And yes, they don't know any better, and that is why they ask for a recommendation. I personally have a stack of 510s, 801s, and 901s, along with a LadyPipe and a smoking anywhere POS ,and I prefer my vapor king to all of those. If I can prevent a newbie from wasting the thousands of dollars I did, then you are darned right I will do my best to do so.

3. Vapor4Life fans are not the only ones with Banners by a long shot. The first ones I ever saw on this forum were from puresmoker. Since then I have also seen them for Nhaler, and a few other companies before I saw them for V4L. Check your facts.

4. I do prefer all cartomizer models to any other device and I am very clear about that whenever I post my recommendations. Of those cartomizer models I prefer the VK and to purchase from V4L. There is a difference in the products so I chose to share that difference with other folks. No one will ever be able to prove that Steve's carts are better without forcing Steve to share his business model. But one of the reasons I prefer his products is evident and clear to anyone who looks at cartomizers from any other place - they are color coded and labeled with the flavor and the strength. This is absolutely a huge bonus to me. Beyond that, Steve stands behind his products and has always taken care of me. Your are damned right I will promote him.

5. If our desire to help out new folks ticks you off, then perhaps you need to avoid the newbie forums. After all, if you are not there to help - then why are you there? It is not trolling to share your favorite device and vendor with a Newbie that asks for information about, you guessed it, your preferred device and vendor. It is called answering a question.

Now, what is trolling, is coming to a sub forum for a particular vendor and posting unfounded accusations against the folks that are here to share ideas and support for the device.

For what my 2 cents is worth, PhoenixRising is 100% right. i was in those newbie forums not even a week ago asking for help and advice. its super confusing when you first try to find a product. i knew i wanted a e-cig that was a 2 piece not 3, i didnt want or need the hassle of filling automizers and whatever else. and do you know what i would hear as recommendations? 'get the 510', '510 all the way', 'majority of e-smokers use the 510, its the best'. doesnt exactly steer me in the right direction now does it? i still had to do alot of research on my own, none the wiser. finally i had someone mention the name VK and when i got to this group, everyone has been super helpful! And best of all in the process was Steve who answered every question no matter how stupid it was!

Pohenix, great post!I had no idea V4L was getting slammed.Guess I was one of those obnoxios posters telling newbies how great Steve and his products are.One other point to make, all of us satisfied customers don't make a dime promoting V4L. We just love the quality and service Steve provides.
Some people are just unhappy all the time.If one of us V4L 'cheerleaders' are able to help just one newbie to stop smoking analogs it's all worth it!

I'll promote products I like. There is absolute nothing wrong with it. That is call OPINION. When someone on these forms asks a question they get peoples OPINION. Yep many swear by the 510. And more times they will try pushing the 510 off on people who do not want a hard hit or a ton of vapor. But they still reply with you want the 510 trust me you want the 510.

For that reason I didn't get a 510. Some people just push out numbers because they think it is what everyone wants.

Now, I do and will continue to talk about V4L. It is a great company. One of the few that cares about there product and there people. I ordered a 901 from someone else. Came with a DOA battery. It took me 5 days to get a reply back from the sales person. THAT IS HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. They are not taking my word for the product being broke. I have to send it back wait a week for testing and then wait for them to ship me another one. All at my expense. Not theirs for sending me a dead untested battery. I will not order from them again.

Steve is a great guy and he has earned. Got it EARNED his customer support from his clients. He didn't ask for it. Doesn't imply.

Yes we are a passionate 'gang' if you wish to call it that. We love our products and service. That is how it works. If you buy a new car and love it. I'm sure you talk about it. I'm sure you talk about electronics you buy. Or whatever. It is no different. It just happens to be v4l are very active form members. That no one can control.

If you or anyone has problems with us. Ignore us and move on to something more relevant then making yourself look like a fool. And making us go on the defensive. Which should NEVER happen in an adult world.
You have your pros and your cons. We have our pros and our cons. And a right to have an OPINION.

I for one love V4L and will continue to get people to try it. Before they go waste 150 bucks on stuff they don't need want or understand. I have a kit sitting on my desk I can't use. And I wish someone had told me.
