Just wondering what peoples opinions are on the new vmax vs the new LT ( I know it's not released yet ) but honestly, the money is "burning a hole in my pocket" and have been ready all week to order the new LT, but no updates or anything so I may just pull the trigger on a vmax.. Them LT is aprox. Gonna be around $110, does anyone have a link to a site that sells the new vmax as a kit? ( batteries and charger ) for around that? Anything less than the $110 would probably push me over the edge because then I could get an ego twist also for not much more than a LT

Hey man,

For what it's worth, I was just in your shoes - looking up all types of mods. I landed on a Lavatube myself and was about to pull the trigger at Volcano, but ended up looking around more and realized it's no longer a Volcano exclusive. I was torn between the Apollo VTube (Apollo VTube Kit) - Kit $52 and change (with code vtube30), free ground shipping, and the vaporbeast Variable Voltage Vector (http://www.vaporbeast.com/The_Vector_Black_p/skvb.htm). I ended up going with the Vector due to the extra battery and extra atomizer it includes and free express shipping; Kit was $68.99. Plus, Apollo was out of the black tubes and I wasn't too fond of the branding on the device. I also believe the Apollo is the L-Rider LT (don't hold me to that), while Vaporbeast's is the Young June - which is what I wanted.

Hope this helped out. I'm loving my Vector.

You might want to sit back and research the Vmax a little while longer. I have been researching it since its first release 8-10 months ago and they are on version 3 already!! Something tells me they are not quite done tweaking it as yet. There are rumors of a newer version called the Zmax coming out in the near future. It is supposed to be a VV / VW unit. There are more than a few units recently that are failing for various reasons. Not to mention the new RBA's are causing some kind of problem with them as well lately. I don't think SmokTech had the idea of people using the RBA's on their units when they were designing them. Seems to be a lot of variables involved with the rebuilding of them and too little room for failure with them. A few have actually killed the units with them. I am researching the RBA's also. Sure seems to be an awful lot of new models from different manufactures coming out in a very short time span and each seem to be unique in their own way. I think with the recent influx of problematic L-tubes coming out lately we have learned quickly that not all APV or APV accessories are created equal. I will say there is a very large following of the device here on ECF and most seem to enjoy the unit while there are some that have moved on from it. You might want to check out the following thread and you can get an idea of what it is all about and maybe make a decision for yourself. It is a long thread and would suggest you read the whole thing as there is some very useful info throughout the whole thread....
