VMax setup thread!

Got home a couple hours ago from my local brick and mortar's grand opening today, amazing turnout with at least 100+ people. Picked up a Cherry vape Tie Dye Ming, was soooo stoked as they had only been given 5... This is the current setup:

- Steampunked patina, I dub it the SteamTech VMax
- SmokTech DCT cut down for standard length cartos, running single coil 3ohm Boge cartos.
- Polished Cherry vape Tie Dye Ming.

This is a SmokTech VMax V2 that was originally black. I sanded it down with a coarse grit, I thought it was 600, but the pad seems to say 120-D? After the sanding down, I sprayed lightly with a soapy water and just wiped it down. Took a bit over an hour and a half to complete.

There are 3 layers of metal underneath the paint, a silver which i'm guessing is aluminum or possibly nickel, then brass and lastly copper. I stopped at the brass and hit the copper areas a bit. Before mentioning how it's very uneven or very rugged and beaten up looking, that's exactly what I was aiming for, Steampunk style is never perfect.

Before asking what the setup is on it:
- Cherry Vapes Tye Dye Ming Drip Tip
- Boge Standard Length Carto @ 3ohms
- SmokTech DCT shortened to standard length "SCT"
- Stacked AW IMR 18350 batteries

Take some steel wool to it and it will shine after that use some wax or polish and it will bling.

Ah I see...that explains alot. Thanks for the pics/video...nice to see what's underneath the paint.
