Vmod spring collapsed

So my spring collapsed, cut it off and tried to replace it but no dice. I sent vapage an email on Friday but no response. Should I just print out the RMA box up the chassis and send it to them without waiting? Bought it August 31 of this year

I had the same thing happen a few weeks ago. I emailed customer service and was told to send the chassis back along with my Vapage order number. There's a 6 month warranty and they replaced it without issue, sending a new chassis as well as a new chimney. I was back in business in a little over the week.

They might not replace it since you cut it... That usually would void any warranty.

Maybe... It's not like I collapsed the spring AFTER I cut it though lol... And I have saved the spring.

Eh, if not I'm ordering a reo Thursday anyway

I had better luck contacting them by phone whenever I needed something...

Did you contact them through the "Contact Us" e-mail page on the web site? I always got a response when using that. They are a Monday - Friday operation though. If you send something on a Friday you never hear anything until the first of the following week.

They did respond after my second email- told me to mail it back.... Gonna do it this weekend. Thanks everyone!

Battery had an EVENT lol. Spring did it's job... Plastic melted off the bottom of the batt though lol
