I ordered a Lava Tube Kit and 3 extra atomizers. 6 days after receipt of the order all 4 atomizers were dead. The first atomizer I used lasted 2 days, this happens, oh well. But, I went through all of the other 3 atomizers to find that they were all dead. Wow. When I contacted Volcano, they indicated they have a 3-day doa return for atomizers!! Seriously, 3 days!! In fact, their policy is actually no returns on any atomizer, but as a 'courtesy' they will take returns on doa atomizers if they are notified within 3 days of order receipt. Most suppliers give 10 to 14 days to return doa atomizers, so I thought I would let everyone know. I would not order any atomizers from this company, but if you do, be aware of this policy and it is not posted on their web site. They do say no returns on atomizers, but one would expect there would be exceptions for defective products.

One more thing .. I was using the Lava Tube up until a few days ago and I was pretty happy with it. However, it started losing contact with the atomizers and ultimately, the piece that the atomizer screws into broke off. Note that although the Lava Tube has a guarantee, it is only valid if you use their atomizers, which I of course, was not since they were all defective.

The Lavatube unlike our smaller batteries carry a different warranty pertaining to atomizers used on the device:

Special LAVATUBE Warranty Information:
The LAVATUBE unit will include a 1 Year Limited Warranty against any manufacturing defects from the date of purchase. We only reccomend that you use the AW IMR High Drain 18650 LiMN Rechargeable Batteries that we sell. However, feel free to use any 510 threaded atomizer you may have as long as it has a resistance rating of atleast 1.5 ohm. For the best performance, we strongly recommend an atomizer with 3.0 ohm of resistance or greater to enjoy the full range of voltage settings the LAVATUBE offers.

This is listed on the product page. Please feel free to contact us about the warranty on your Lavatube. I would recommend adjusting the plate on the threaded end of the atomizer more than the one on your batteries when you have a connection issue.
