Volcano Clear Cartomizer issue.

Hey everyone,

Been having an issues with my volcano Clear-o-mizers as of late. Was wondering if anyone has an idea on what my problem is here. Went through 7-8 of these with no real problems. Now i have a carto that is just failing to work properly. I pull on the carto on the battery and off, i hear the air flowing fine. But thats it. No juice. I see the atomizer on the end lighting up red, like its trying to work, but no real liquid is making it to the Atomizer? Hopefully this sounds right. Ive tried to get it to work, but i only get smoke 1 of every 4 pulls if that. Is this just a bad carto? Or is this a common issue with a fix?

Sounds like a wicking problem to me. You may need to "fluff" the wicks. I don't have a link to the video that shows how to do this, but there is one on youtube that shows this. Search on this board, and on youtube. It may be in the long thread for GotVapes in the suppliers forum, but I'm not sure.

There are two silicone seals at the end of the cartridge. One is a ring that sits on top, and one is the filler ring that surrounds the ceramic cup. Get a small screwdriver or a bent heavy paperclip and - carefully! - lift that filler ring up just a hair. It can get pushed down too far and squeeze the wicks. If that doesn't do it, you can pull the filler ring out completely and make the notches for the wick just a little bit bigger with a pair of cutting snips. Don't make it too much bigger or it'll start to leak.
