Volcano Lava Tube/Tube Tank extreme wicking issues.

I just ordered Volcanos Lava tube kit + Tube Tank + 16mg 30ml Menthol juice and I'm totally happy with it so far if I just straight drip...however the Tube Tank is giving me some problems. And now I just need to know, is there anyway to tweak this thing to help with wicking? The hole inside the stainless carto was TINY...so I started by making that a little bit bigger and that did'nt do much..so next I totally cleaned it out refilled it..and tried getting more juice directly on the wick just as the videos told me to, around the outer edges...well before I knew it I had juice runnin down the side of my lava tube...and the weird thing was ...the wick seemed like it was able to handle 20+more drops...its was just sucking the stuff up. Everything was sealed tight, and put together correctly.

So I figured id come ask here once, since I couldnt find any how too videos on tweaking this Volcano Tube Tank or even anyone so much as mentioning tweaking it..If noone can sugest anything here Im going to just go with a "Mom and pops submarine tank" those seem pretty sweat and cheap aswell.

Just sitting here messing with the Volcano Tube Tank on the Lava Tube mod... I was having major issues with it until I found somthing out just by accident...not sure if I'm late to the party so to speak...but with the Lava Tank filled on the Lava tube mod...hitting it while its off, draws the liquid into the carto...so I've been hitting it whiles its off till I hear a slight gurgle, then fire it up...and the hits I'm getting are FREAKIN AMAZING....this is how I imagined it to be....and if it stays this way...I will not be using any other setup. I really really hope this helps anyone having the same issues I was...since theres not much info out there about tweaking the Volcano Tube Tanks.

Just be careful when you prime it like that. That slight gurgle you hear means its on the verge of flooding. But if it works for you then keep at it! If you end up flooding all you have to do is blow the carto out and you're good to go!

Go to the Volcano forum, they've got lots of advice for stuff like this. Unfortunately I don't know the answer because I don't use that system, but there's someone that can help you there, if no one here has the answer.

If you put another hole in the carto you won't have to hit it when it's off.....it'll wick better
