The holes are pretty tiny and can be hard to see. There are some videos on youtube that show you how to fill them. What I have discovered is that the first time you fill one of these cartos it is very difficult. The little plastic needle you use likes to bend so you have to be very careful. Subsequent refills seem to be a lot easier though.

I've been using mine now for the last week. I still like the fact that they are clear so I always know exactly how full they are. I don't carry a juice bottle around with me during the day so knowing how full these are is important to me. I did have a couple of them crack on me this week though. I'm not sure whether that was caused by a design flaw or by something I did.

FWIW, I have vaped down most of one full clearomizer since my head-cold has gone away. The flavor has improved over what I thought was absent or skewed. These definitely are not plug-and-play though. They need to be filled and left to sit for a little while before being ready, and cannot be chain-vaped. I really like being able to see how much juice is left!

I ordered/received four 5 packs from Volcano. Been vapin and refillin one for more than a week. Prior to this I used C-E2 R4 XL's. Not much problem with them either. My juice is 50/50 PG/VG or greater VG. I use a syringe that the tip(s) screw on. The friction fit syringe tips just blow off the syringe and make a mess. I'm a lovin these Clear Cartos XL version, don't care what else you call um. I'm one that doesn't care for a lot of messin round with my vapin. Ain't no hobby to me, it's a damned addiction. Gradually working my way down in nic level, looking for the day I'll give all my crap to those in the family that still smoke tobacco cigs.

Cheers,
otrpu

We recorded our video review of these things tonight (Wednesday) and as soon as I get the editing done I'll post it up. In the meantime we have a new video review on the site for you to check out :)

Well, I'm out. I just lost a cartomizer. The bottom came loose as I have previously heard from other members. That means 20% of my product failed. 80% quality is borderline "C" grade quality, and that is unacceptable. I know that not everybody receives one out of five being broken, but there have been enough posts for me to no longer support them. Nice idea, but I'm not feelin' it.

I have to agree. Bought 10 of them, 5 from Volcano and 5 from Gotvapes.....1 of the 5 worked from Gotvapes, and 2 worked from Volcano, the other ones just tasted burnt no matter what I did. Oh, and 1 fell apart and leaked juice everywhere.
So the long and short of it....these are not for me either

Bought 5 from volcano, filled up 3 with diff. juice. So far only 1 doesnt work well it keeps overfilling the atty with juice. I think that was why the vapor production was low compared to the other 2. I do taste burnt tastes also with all three, even after vaping about a quarter of the liq. in the tube the burnt taste is still there also with plasticy taste.

I haven't used mine much since I got them - they're not liking my eGo battery. I'm getting a ProVari next Tuesday (WOOT!) and I expect them to perform much better at a higher voltage. The best I can get with a freshly charged eGo battery is a little over 3 watts, and that's pathetic for both vapor and flavor. I plan to bump it up to about 4.5 volts and see how they do with that.

But I've had no issues with cracked or leaking cartos. They hold their juice much better than the cartos I'm using now. I just had to clean a mess out of my car when my carto leaked all over the cup holder.
