It's wonderful that you are satisfied with this product, but why not let it stand on its own? It is most definitely not a Bloog MaxxFusion clone, and it should not be misrepresented as such all over these boards.

I'm a satisified BMF user, and everyone knows they are not the cheapest KR808 option. After your review, I went and ordered one battery and some cartos to see for myself. The Volt is not the same product at all. The cartos are even the old hard-tips. Not even close to the same performance.

Once again, if you are satisfied with the performance of the Volt, Eli, great for you.

Don, I know you have reviewed the BMF. If you would like me to send you this Volt battery and some cartos to compare, PM me. It's not like they are being used here. :)

Aside from the hard tip mouth piece the inside construction of the cartos is exactly the same, and suggest you do an autopsy to see. I contacted cs and asked why they were using a hard tip, and their reasoning was that the rubber pieces were falling out and could possibly be dangerous. Also, I have seen no difference in performance... everything is subjective and I am glad you are happy, but after all the problems I've had with Bloog and the great customer service I am getting now, I am never looking back.

Thank you, Eli, for those great photos! Not being a modder, I've never dug down into a BMF (or any other) cartomizer. The main difference I see is that interior translucent cap (present on most Kr8 cartos, but not on the BMFs).

Too late! I already ordered a couple batts and a pack of cartos. Thank you so much for your offer however!

Personally, it was the VOLT batts I was most interested in. [Of my remaining two BMF batts: this week, I lost one (maybe it's in the folds of my lounge chair) and the other died. BTW, BMF cartos are working great on my eGo (with adapter of course). Even the cone fits on fine.] I have a good supply of BMF cartos at the moment but threw in the cartos pack to check out. I've started tentatively recommending the VOLT to others and I need to personally confirm.

You commented on the cartos. What about the battery? Does it not perform well?

How did it die? The sensors do NOT like juice getting on them. I did this (juice) to one of my batts, wouldn't turn off after a drag. I cleaned the sensor and all is well again.

How did it die? I don't know. Perhaps some juice leaked in.

What are the symptoms of death? Fresh out of charging in the PCC, the LED at the end flashes when I suck on the carto and I get little to no vapor.

Clean the sensor? What is the sensor? Functionally, I assume that the sensor is the little guy in the battery who senses that I'm puffing and realizes that it is time to turn on and heat up the atty portion of the cartomizer. Right? [Childish phrasing deliberately used to indicate my level of technical sophistication.] But where is it ... and how do I clean it?

I'll post what I did with pics in the maintenance section.

Are you referring to the "DPV9-KR808D-1 Cartomizers"? Same as MaxX Fusion (or, I suppose, Volt), eh?

No not those, they have hard tips.

These:

DPV9-KR808D NEW!!!!!!

Edit:

Posted a breakdown pic. Instead of coming in a blister foil pack of 5, they come in a box of 5. Same internals, and 2.5 ohm.
